I had the first tee time out today by myself at 7 AM. The staff in the pro shop couldnt have been nicer. That said, there were two groups of men ready to tee off who couldnt have been more rude, insulting and condescending. The pro shop told me I should tee off ahead of them. ( I play 18 holes in under 2 1/2 hours. ) One "gentleman" informed me they always have the first tee time, and I could play behind them. Rather than argue, I told them I would skip the first hole. Never having played the course, they pointed me to a shortcut to the second hole. It led me to the 10th. I turned around and backtracked. They laughed as I passed them. On the second hole I was greeted by another "polite regular" who told me he was waiting for his friends on the first tee. I was livid. I teed off and played the remaining front. A relaxing fun round of golf ---- I think not. I planned on playing 18 but quit. I play approximately 100 rounds of golf a year and have never experienced anything like this. Good luck Hunter. I hope you can survive on your regulars because I doubt many good golfers will put up with this garbage!!!!!!

Is Meriden run by old School racists? I can smoke here, but I cant smoke at the park it touches or the basketball courts I started boycotting Meriden parks Instead of whites only it is $ only Suzio trap rock detonations have been shaking my parents house the past twenty years State police shoot their guns whenever they damn well please on Preston. Quality of life does not seem to be top priority of law enforcement

Played for the first time today, every hole has character and demands a good golf shot to score well. Challenging yet very fair. Requires some golf course knowledge on a handful of holes. Intend on returning soon and making this track a regular part of my rotation.

Great public course. A lot of nice changes in the last few years. Very forgiving course and greens are not very challenging but you cant go wrong for the price!

Great view of the golf course. And the food was excellent, portions...for me... was enough for twice. Highly recommended even if youre not a golfer.
