I am quite disappointed at the sliding door charge that the Hungry Tiger charges. Friends of mine went in around 6 and paid nothing, I went in at 7 and was charge $8 another friend came in half an hour later and was charged $10. The band playing was not famous as noted by others here. Also they jacked up the speakers in the bar area to max which made peoples ears pop over and over. It wasnt the Meadows guys come on. There is one saving grace to this place and that is Tracy the bartender. She is awesome, have known her since her Hooters days. Question why do they serve beers at 9 AM on Thanksgiving day before the Manchester Road race.? Why not restrict it and just serve coffee. The food there is great but I have had better in town Also there is a sign on the side walk that says "NO PARKING ON SIDEWALK" But yet during motorcycles are always on the sidewalk during the Tigers hours. People walking have to walk in the street, Why doesnt the Manchester Police enforce this law and have them towed or ticketed?

The Tiger is what it is- a cross between a dive bar and a music hall. If youre expecting more from it, then youll be disappointed. It has so much unrealized potential. The bands are varried and Ive seen some great acts and some lousy ones. Most of the time the music is cranked too loud, though. The beers on tap seem like they havent changed for 10 years- its the same crap youll find at any hole in the wall in any state. If they rotated just 2 taps with some GOOD craft beer, Id go a lot more often! The staff has always been very friendly to me and my friends. The same with most of the regulars. While I havent had much, the food is good for where it comes out of. I had one of the best burgers ever during one of the block parties. Don is a character, but I think hed do a lot more business if he made some positive changes rather than trying to cut corners to save a dime. This place definitely deserves to be on "bar rescue".

We ordered some chicken and it was horrendous. It was so old and dried out I wouldnt have served it to a dog. Luckily they offered to take it back, but the kitchen seemed violently hesitant to admit there was anything wrong. Im sorry, I wish I took a picture of the revolting dish. Amazingly, they denied there was anything wrong with it... But they allowed me to get another dish, I ordered nachos to be safe, and they were...edible? It was, quite literally, a bag of chips dumped out with a quick few slices of cheese. That they managed to melt the cheese is a miracle. Overall, one of the worst food experiences Ive had, but it was fun...I guess?

Good food, kitchen is not that clean from what you can see, but when 99% of the menu consists of deep fried items, i guess youre safe. Great staff, very friendly. And good music, well depends on the band, but you can be assured youll hear live music every night of the week. Drinks changed prize everytime we went there, which aint cool if you go regularly, you start to wonder whos the bartender thats ripping you, or whos the one hooking you up... overall its not a bad place if you live in Manchester, if you are coming from elsewhere, more than 20ml, and you dont know who is playing... id stick to pizza hut, the iPod and stay home.

I went here last night, and the back walkway was scattered with broken glass and garbage. I was wearing sandals and would have cut my foot open if my friend had not pointed out the glass shards. We then went inside to find out the drinks were overpriced and the music was both awful and too loud. If you have a choice between staying home and going to the Hungry Tiger, Id suggest staying home.

My Wife and I went here for old times sake and WOW!! the food was great and just what we remembered I only wish we could have stayed for the entertainment. We watched the band setup - boy did that bring back memories. Take a look at the pictures on the wall, history. Good, honest, food and service. were from out of town but will return - thanks

This is a great local new England style pub. Dont come here for food, dont be an idiot. Bored with your friends on a Friday or Saturday night? The hungry tiger will give you reasonably priced drinks and interesting people to talk to and a hit/miss band (expect a cover).

If you like the smell of sweaty feet at your table, you will love this place! Our waitress cleaned our table in front of us with a rag that we think she used to clean the bathroom with.....disgusting! Although based on the clientel, they probably love this!!

The crust is light, crisp and tasty. The toppings are fresh. The service is extremely friendly. The prices are a little higher, but well worth it. Since Im sharing my pizza with a vegetarian, I got a side of the Italian sausage. Delicious, with great sauce.

This was the perfect place for our meeting. As a small group of teachers we came here for a late lunch and meeting. The food was good and the owner Don, was very kind and made sure we had what was needed. Thanks again Don well be back.

Bartender s are rude. Asked for a Sams Summer it was all foam. The girl tried to pass the beer between cups and then was surprised i wanted a bottle instead. Only go to see Jimi Bell.

Went there to see a band. The band was fantastic. The service was good, but took a long time to get anything from water to food. The food quality was very low. Its a dive bar.

This place is dirty. I asked for a skinny girl margarita and got tequila in a shot glass with 3 lime. This place is a joke and the food was gross
