I own an Escape Room as well. I have played many rooms world wide and have had the pleasure to see alot of good and bad rooms. With that said, I can honestly say Denver Escape Room is one of the absolute best in the state. Why? Here are a few bullet points... 1.) Their rooms are built solid. Great themes and immersion atmosphere. 2.) The puzzle play in each room are unique and well thought out. Great mix of analog and technology. 3.) Game flow is spot on and there games allow for all players to feel entertained at all times. 4.) The staff are friendly, professional and hospitable. Overall, your experience is top notch when visiting this place. There are a lot of rooms in the area that are good in certain categories. HOWEVER, Denver Escape Rooms fire on all cylinders. Highly recommend their new room Grim Stacks. It has such a fun charm about it while still being challenging and advanced in all categories. Have fun and happy escaping!!!

I had an amazing experience! Myself and 3 friends joined another couple for the hardest room, "Rampany" and we had a blast. Our minds were put to the test as we conquered patterns and solved logic puzzles. Definitely not for the feint of mind. It involved a decent amount of math but every time we were stuck or strayed from the correct path we were treated to a light hint through the monitor to refocus and proceed. The clues were helpful but not obvious, the puzzles all made sense, and we almost finished the hardest room which we were extremely proud of. 10 more minutes would have resulted in an ever so satisfying victory. I will definitely be bringing friends again to tackle another task. AMAZING for double/triple dates and involves a lot of teamwork and reliance on each other. Highly recommended for anyone with a sense of adventure.

Edited: I had reviewed this lower before. After this incident of the room not being reset correctly, I was contacted by someone from Denver Escape Room, and provided a certificate for all 6 people who attend the room. We recently went and my teammates and I had a much better experience this time around. Thank you for a new opportunity Denver Escape Room! :) ........ This was the 3rd time Ive done a room at Denver Escape room. I have loved every room Ive gone to. However, last night in one of the rooms, the final puzzle was not reset correctly allowing us to solve it within 10 minutes of being in the room. We were able to go through and complete the room, but the thrill of actually solving the room was ruined due to that oversight. We were pretty bummed.

My friend and I did the "Grim stacks", anyone who loves Harry Potter will love this room! With just the two of us we made it until the last clue, but that doesnt mean it was easy! We had to use quite a few clues to get to that point though! Ive been to a few different escape rooms and this place was the coolest. The rooms are well designed and intricate and the story was super fun and cool. The staff is friendly and fun and at the end if you dont finish, they walk you through until you do. My tip is this: dont over think anything!

We had a group of six and we did Rampancy. It was hard, but for our first time doing an escape room, we almost completed it... we were one lock box away! Rampancy only has a 16% success/escape rate (which we didnt notice ahead of time), and didnt think we would be as successful as we were when we found out about the success rate. Working together and using the screen hints, we did pretty good for our first time. We definitely want to try do other rooms. It was a great experience, challenging, and fun for everyone.

If you are wanting to do something new and fun with family or friends this is the place. We have done 2 rooms and had a blast both times! We took my parents here for their anniversary and they talked about it for weeks to all their friends and co-workers. Highly recommend! Good, clean fun for eveyone. Best tip I can give is try not to overthink the puzzles and work as a team trying everyones ideas. Sometimes the most obvious thing is the awnser, but everyone over looks it.

I didnt know what to expect and was a little bit put off by the location when I was driving up to the place. But I absolutely loved it. My friends and I did Rampart and almost finished but couldnt get the last piece of the puzzle. I will definitely be going back for more asap. The staff was great, the puzzles were really creative, and the room(s) were very cool. I did it with four other friends (five total) and felt like it would have been better with three people.

Weve done quite a few escape rooms in the Denver/Boulder area. We have done two of the rooms at Denver Escape Room - White Lie, and Rescue 2.0. In both cases the room was either not reset correctly, or some part of the puzzle was broken/inoperable. The puzzles are also much less creative than other rooms weve attempted. Nearly everything here is padlock-based. We probably wont be giving their other two rooms a try.

SO MUCH FUN! Very professionally run. They prepare you pretty well, even if youve never done an escape room before. If you get really stuck, they give you small clues, but never solve a puzzle for you. Puzzle design was fantastic and the room decor, lights, and props got us really into the theme. Prepare to escape from boring life for an hour...

Did White Lie a few weeks ago. With a group of 6, we made it out, but we didnt have a ton of time left on the clock. Nothing about it in particular really made it stand out from other escape rooms for me, it was just a challenging and well-constructed puzzle. I would definitely go back to try one of their other rooms.

I had a ton of fun here with my family (ages 26-60). Ive done a few escape rooms and this one is awesome because theres like 5 or 6 different rooms. All of the others that Ive ever gone to only have one or two so even though they are enjoyable, you cant really come back. Much less of a problem here and it was fun!

Went here for an office team building event and we all had a great time! We did the pipe works room which was supposedly the easiest but even with a room of 8 adults we definitely felt challenged mentally. The room itself was a really cool steampunk/bioshock style that was very immersive. Would highly recommend!

I love the three new rooms rampancy, crimson storm, pip works, they are fun, creative, and clever. I did not like the older rooms like white lie and R.E.S.C.U.E.D but I can see a big improvement with the new games I can see you guys have rethought your games a lot and I like it!

We have been here a couple times with family when they visit. Definitely a lot of fun and challenging. I felt the last time they were giving us way too many clues along the way which took away from some of the fun and excitement but still a good time was had by all.

So much fun!!! I went with my mom and aunt to do Grim Stacks, it was super challenging and we didnt finish in the 1 hour time limit, but someone helped us figure out the rest of the clues at the end, which I loved. We will definitely be going back.
