This is one of the worst taken care of golf courses in the metro area. And the staff all seem to have an attitude equivalent to a post office employee. The last time I was in the pro shop, to be polite, I asked the guy at the counter "how are you doing today sir" and his response was "well, Im not scheduled to even be here for 2 more hours, so, that will give you an idea" in which I responded, "well, Im sorry to hear that but maybe the silver lining is that youll get a little overtime pay this week, right?" And his response was "yea, maybe. But Id rather it just start pouring rain and maybe everyone will get off the course so I can go home." I could only respond with "well, i hope your day makes a turn for the better." I cant say Ive had this same conversation with an employee there before, but, I have definitely encountered similar, general attitudes from employees upon more than one occasion here.

The course is decent and the price is about average for weekend play, roughly $60 for 18 and a cart. I only come here as a last resort though, for whatever reason its popular with locals. Its not worth the price or headache to play on the weekends. Way too congested and backed up. If your lucky, you get to hit a shot every 10 min, impossible to get a rhythm going. The range is covered and the mats are usually in great shape, Im just not trying to pay $15 for a large bucket when I can pay $8 someplace else. I also think the club house staff is warned on their first day that if they smile or show any personality theyll be taken out back and shot. Bill, the starter, is amazing. Always very helpful, positive and encouraging. Good luck

my 2 cents.. i like it all around. nice family place. the only thing that needs a small improvement upon is the driving range. have a driving range area with some real grass to practice hitting shots, instead of warming up on fake grass mats! Hell, charge 8$ instead of 5$ to hit off real grass areas with 40 practice balls. id pay it and im sure many more would do the same! big hitter, the lama...and to mr matt with the one star review on the water issue, anyone who plays at altitude kinda knows to bring at least one or two bottles of extra water with them. i do it on every course i play! drink for thought...my 2 cents...

A bit surprised at the mid 3 rating. I think the full 18 is one of the better courses within 10 miles of downtown and is probably the best 18 of the Denver courses, particularly due to the Creek course. Fun par 3 if you have kids although it seems to get crowded on the weekends, and a good easier 9 on the West course. The practice facilities admittedly arent great though. I think we paid $54 a person for a Saturday morning round, felt like that was a good value, and didnt have to drive for 45 minutes like some of the good comparable courses scattered around the city.

I will never play here again. The course was in great shape and I was very excited to play this course, up until we made it on the back 9 and I ran out of water. None of the back 9 water jugs were full. It was in the mid 80s and not a cloud in the sky. I was drenching in sweat and I couldnt even find a cart girl. I was sick for two days afterward from the dehydration. I wont put myself in that position again. There are plenty of courses in aurora who care about the well being of their golfers, there is no need to waste time on those who dont.

Im reviewing just the mini golf... Ive been to this place over the years and it WAS a good course at one time but it has literally fallen apart. They dont bother to sweep the leaves out or brush the water that sits in corners, its crumbling, and our 3 balls got stuck in the castle chute. Not worth even staying open in its present condition. Add to that the $7 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under and we literally tossed away $24 for 2 adults and our twin 4 year old kids. Needs renovation and a price decrease for young kids.

Had a tee time of 9:40 and proceeded to Par 3. Was behind a twosome that had a tee time of 9:10 and just getting on the course. They were so backed up it was crazy. And now I find out each putting green has 2 putting holes...the bigger one for rookies. They are now clearly catering to new golfers and looking at the two in front of us was going to be a painful experience and wait. We will be finding another place to golf. Too bad as I use to enjoy this course.

I loved the course. Pace was a little slow until the Marshall came out and got on the group walking in front of us. The greens rolled well and true. Its is fairley open so allows for a spray from time to time. The staff was friendly and prompt. Definitely would play again. I went and checked out the putt putt course, quit hating. Its not to bad. The turf was fine and looked clean.

I dont know why theres bad reviews unless your going there for mini golf I guess. But for real golfers its nice lol- well maintained greens, a beautiful course with views of the mountains and ponds, par 3 and par 4 available. I wish the cart girl came around more often but thats why you byob. Driving range was fine too, with shelters over about half of it in case it rains.

I usually go here for par 3 course. The longest hole is about 160 yards so youll never need a wood. There are two holes with water hazards. There is no sand on this course. Many holes are stacked against other holes so you can encounter players and/or balls from adjacent holes. All in all its a very easy course that can be walked in about 90 minutes.

Yes this a totally normal public golf course. However the staff is very friendly and always excepts junior rates. Furthermore they also are almost always able to get me a walk on rate as well as a time within the first 5 minutes of me walking in. Great public courses that is both fun and challenging.

Played mini golf here. Was probably a super nice putt putt at one time. Not kept up well. Dirt and leaves on the greens. They need to just clean it up and some paint and it would be in all its glory again. Great layout.

Driving range is in horrible conditions. Employees shut down the lights a hour before closing to rush us out. Wasted a bucket of balls because I could not see the ball at night with the light turned off.

Has a total of 3 courses. We played 9 holes of straight aways. It was fun and affordable. About $24 with cart! I would recommend to play the course that runs along the creek. Its the most scenic.

The restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast. I had the huevos rancheros and was very surprised at how good it was. Great green chili! Great service too - the waitress kept our coffee hot.
