Cleats is generally a pretty decent atmosphere with a modern décor but the food is in desperate need of an overhaul. I was there recently and while the staff was pleasant, our server wasnt very knowledgeable about the menu or what beers are on tap. The food we ordered was very obviously right from the freezer. The fish in the fish and chips was in a preformed shape and was pretty greasy. Chicken strips looked like they were stamped out of a mold. not good. A pizza was pretty good though. Beers were cold but not poured right. Kind of flat. We didnt order any mixed drinks so I dont know if the bartender is skilled or not. Perhaps more fresh food and homemade items would help draw more people. Its not too difficult to make real beer batter and fresh cut fries. Overall cleats is pretty mediocre at best with bad bar food. Theres a friendly staff and Ok drinks but stay away from the food. Additionally the bar grade pool tables need to go. They wont generate enough revenue for the area they require. Dollars per square foot is way below the break even point. I only give it 3 stars because the place is clean and has an ok vibe. Otherwise it would be 1 or 2 stars.

Finally giving up on this location - it is truly cursed. Indigo Joes, The Indigo, The Stadium and now Cleats. Got sick from eating at the first three and now got sick from eating at Cleats. The hamburger which supposedly is one of their specialties was stinky and poor tasting (like throw-up). We know better than to send anything back to the kitchen so I just did not finish it. The decor is underwhelming but they do have plenty of TVs and a fairly decent draft beer selection. Go if you dont want to eat but we will skip it in the future. Much better options nearby.

Consistently the absolute worst service in the Springs going back 7+ years under any name this bar previously had. 15 minute wait on a drink or refill, and once again, a 30 minute wait on my food order (burger). Im watching tables get ignored, people clamor for their orders, and glasses go empty. Staff on a constant rotation provides lackluster service, and most of the food is flat out awful. Most people agree on the low rating and review on this dump. Worst bar in town and its no wonder its a constant failure...run by morons.

Interesting about the reviews.. I think the place is pretty nice. Lots of TVs, giving anyone the choice on what they want to see. Some good drink specials if you come on the right day. Nice pool tables and dart boards. Wait service Ive never really had a problem with, though its possible there could be some issues. Food isnt the best, which is the main reason why Im docking it a little, but its certainly not the worst, either. Check it out and see for yourself! I think youll be pleasantly surprised.

Not a bad atmosphere, but drinks are a bit overpriced. Had a good time when my wife and I went, and service was good, but on another visit with a friend during a Tuesday night trivia game, we got no service after sitting for 15 minutes, and left to go to another bar. After going to the original Cleats for almost 20 years, this was disappointing. The new owners did a great job with that location. Just wish this one had the same customer service as the other one.

This place is downright depressing. Its been empty every time I am in there on a Friday or Saturday night. Despite the lack of people, they have a DJ pumping terrible tunes at concert-level volumes, followed by karaoke from the 3 people in the bar. One of the waitresses there does have an amazing voice and is a real treat to listen to. Other than that, not many redeemable factors about this place.

This bar is so so but what makes me give it 5 stars is the bartenders. I ecspecially like when Joey is tending bar. He is extremely social and he is constantly running around making sure there was not an empty glass in the bar area. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink or bite to eat and remember to ask for Joey. Also ask if they can get the NHL package should be a must have for a sports bar.

Absolutely love this place! Every time I come in the staff is nice, the food is good and so are the drinks! Today my server is Analicia and she is great! She made sure that not only did I have what I needed but, that all her customers had what they needed/wanted. Super personable too! Glad this place is here. Theyre also kid friendly!

Only had the Tuesday tacos for food. They were ok, nothing special. Happy hours drink prices are worse than average for an equivalent bar. Had a large Dales which is about equivalent to two pints and Happy Hour price was 8 bucks. At four bucks a pint you can find better prices elsewhere during Happy Hour.

Ignored for 15 minutes, found manager, nothing changed, wait staff was horrible, food average, no follow up by manager. Overall, terrible atmosphere, badly trained wait staff, no respect for management from employees. Do not waste your time or money too many other better places just minutes away

Poor service and just ok food. Ordered nachos and a side salad that never came despite asking for them again, charged extra for a beer we didnt drink and the waiter didnt seem to care. Burger wasnt anything special. Good place to watch games but definitely wouldnt go back.

Seems as if youre not a friend of the wait staff, you will WAIT forever. Only thing worse than the service was the food. Cleats is a very appropriate name, the wait staff seemed like their feet were stuck to the floor and the food tasted like deep fried shoes.

Great place to get a drink and watch a game. Tons of TVs at multiple angles. Not a bad seat in the place. Could use more pool tables and games. Live music at times. Patio with fireplace is nice. Usually quiet and the menu is good for being a sports bar.

i always receive amazing service here and the food is great. Our waitress/bartender Ali was very helpful when it comes to picking which food or drinks you should order. Never stuck waiting for service or sitting a long time for your food to arrive.

Awesome place. Great setting, convenient location and good prices. But above and beyond, the service Ive received from their bartender David has been wonderful. Hes attentive, on top of orders, and remembers my name and drink order!

Analicia was our server. She did an amazing job. There were tons of games she made available to my kids which allowed me to eat in peace. If service is always this good I will certainly return. Two thumbs up.

Great place to grab a beer since it is close to our house, but they need to improve there food menu. We have eaten there several times and there is nothing on the menu that I would go back to have again.

I like the crowd that this vibe pulls in. They have nights of trivia and bingo. There is always something fun going on with the chance to meet new people. Oh, and I personally love the fish and chips.

Beer is good, burgers r horrible! They have no flavor, u can get a bigger burger at McDonalds (the quarter pounder). They have changed there menu. Fries r extra now. Wont eat here again.
