The trails are so nice. Lots of choices for short hikes that are easy enough to do with kids. We saw lots of deer tracks, walked adjacent to a stream which was high and flowing strongly when we visited. Great maps and markings on the trail. The Discovery Center kept my kids entertained door over an hour. Godspeed to their new bee colony, I hope they live long and healthy lives.

What a terrible experience we had. It was supposed to be my daughters first birthday party so we rented a pavilion. When we arrived, someone else was there and refused to leave. They were smoking marijuana in front of small children, drove cars onto the grass and were blasting gangster rap. No one was there to help us and enforce our reservation. This city is disgusting.

This is a great park for everyone. Regulars, dog walkers (dogs must be on a leash), bird watchers, etc. Paths are cleared regularly (even of horse manure). Would recommend not going in the late afternoon (if you want to have a peaceful walk/jog) during the weekdays since nearby schools use the park for track and cross country.

Enjoyed this park. Nice open areas, scenic background. Well kept, clean. Fun place for groups or just time with the family. Our time at the park was pleasant, people enjoying the day. They also have a designated part to bring your pets and let them play in an open area. I like how the park is not surrounded by businesses.

Like most everyone else, I love this park! They have something for everyone here. Dog park, playgrounds with swings, sports fields, hiking trails, and large gazebos perfect for a get together! Its so beautiful here too! The grass is always so green and I recommend this park even for a simple picnic.

What a GREAT Off-Leash dog park! In the 2yrs that Ive been going with "Colt", weve encountered one mean dog... and that was brief thanks to the quick owner. Its clean and big. TIP: if busy, dont let your dog in the water at the bottom...go west to the big area. The water will be cleaner.

Our dog loved this park. Very large with a creek running through it for the dogs to play in. One side of the park, with the creek, is heavily wooded with little hidden walking paths. The other side is very open and great for playing fetch with your furry friends.

One of THE TOP TEN dog parks in the U. S.! AND, my dog pooped there! There is a dog training course practice area that will allow your dog to make an idiot out of you as he stares at you trying to get him to get into the tube...or go across the teeter totter!

Lots of green grass, older trees for shade, pavilions, playground, and other areas for having picnics. We had a party at one of the 3 larger pavilions that are clustered together, but I dont remember seeing bathrooms, but I think there was a standard park set.

always beautiful, great playground, open fields, courts for volleyball, tennis, and basket ball, and great picnic areas. Public restrooms are not great, but above average. Trails are a blast if you like hiking, and can keep you busy for quite a while.

I was so sad to go back home, where we have nothing like this. This is the coolest dog park Ive ever seen. 25 fenced-in acres of hills, trails, creek bed, fields, and a small enclosed agility course. They even provide poo bags. My dogs were in heaven.

I took my two dogs here today for the first time. Truly wonderful, wooded, shaded, multi-use dog park. Also trails beside the park to take the dogs on leash. Some dogs even appeared to have been swimming! Large parking area, and close to town.

Fantastic little park w/ Community Garden Plots, trails, huge picnic area perfect for large gatherings (30+), several parking areas & restroom. Just 2 blocks down the street is the Bear Creek dog park too! P.S.- Watch out for those speed bumps!

Amazing park to take your dogs!! Been going to bear creek for 3 years now my dogs just love it. I cant even say the word park. This place has alot of shaded areas and for the most part most people take care in picking up after their dogs!

Took the family out for a walk on a nice warm day. Lots of elevation changes and lots of options for distances. The nature center is really nice with hands on exhibits for the kiddos. The creek is peaceful and the scenery is beautiful.

Loved bringing my dog to this Park. It was a good experience for her as she is very shy around other dogs. Seemed like all the dogs she encountered were very polite and did not intimidate her beyond her limits. Great experience for us.

My new favorite dog park! Green and lush. A beautiful, clean and clear Creek runs thru it for the dogs and their pets lol. People were so friendly and courteous. Plus, the park was clear of any trash. I def. Recommend this park!

Seriously wow! This is one of the best dog parks in the nation. Beautiful stretch of land. I would recommend sticking to the weekdays though. Weekends get very crowded and not all dog owners are that attentive with their pups.

Beautiful place for family gathering, picnics: features ample picnic tables, covered pavilions, fixed bbq grills, concrete sidewalk for ease of use by wheelchair users, walking trails on ppty, adequate parking. Just perfect!

Love to take our dog to the dog park. Such joy for him. Also, our church has been holding its yearly picnic in the pavilion for years. Always a great venue for this type of activity. We look forward to it every summer.

Pretty decent place with a large grassy expanse to play games with the whole family. Clean, covered picnic tables and a play structure for the kiddos. Great place to host a family get together with plenty of parking.

Previous review should not be posted here. Bear Creek Park is a park open to the public on the south part of Colorado Springs with great mountain views and lots of open space. Great trails for people and dogs alike.

Large fields are always maintained, nice play ground, volleyball area, plenty of picnic spots, and an obstacle course with hiking trails behind it. I believe I saw an archery range next to the obstacle course.

Love this park! There are two good playgrounds and lots of great areas for easy hikes, runs and mountain biking. Its a good place for younger kids to learn how to mountain bike, especially the eastern half.

Great place for your family, including dogs! Well behaved dogs do not need to be on a leash anywhere in the park. Beautiful scenery and nice trails that arent very crowded with people or tourists.

The best park. My dogs love the water, the friendships, and trails. They are filthy dirty when we come home but its worth it. I love all of the above plus the great bathroom!!

Heaven is how I would describe this pristine chunk of Earths beauty. CO Springs treasures its parks and natural preserves. My appreciation could never match the wonders here.

We love this park. The walk is nice and the creek is fun for the dogs to play in and cool off in the summer. Its low enough that even my kids get in and play with the dogs.
