The Only thing good about this place is the view. The customer service is terrible. The hostess is rude . When I asked for a table the first thing she said was,"dont order from the bar." when I told her we already did she make it clear again that we needed to order from the server and that I can only sit for 1 hour because someone else was coming. I mean this isnt my first time at a restaurant. She sat us directly facing the sun and when I asked for a shaded spot which I could see where available . the hostess said other people would be there in 30 min. After that the waitress only took our food order and then didnt come back. The drinks are $15 and the food is limited to only 6 items.all $15 and up. The food we ordered was lamb sliders and mahi tacos. Both good but small portions. We ended up closing our tab very quickly . Not a friendly experience.

Hands down the best location for afternoon and sunset drinks in Venice. The views from this place are amazing, the fresh breeze and cool drinks are matched by DJs laying down tracks, models and hipsters. The name "high" is unlikely to have been chosen randomly though; Loud, rowdy guests, drunk or high, would throw signs and glasses over the railings and party quite hard. During a couple of hours of Sunday afternoon chilling here (good WiFi and fresh air = great place to get some work done, except for the rowdy guests) I was asked no less than twice by hipsters if I knew where to get cocaine in the area (no!). Stay clear if you have a family, or nip up just before sunset for the views!

Un lieu intéressant pour la vue. Les cocktails sont intéressants et plutôt uniques, cependant compter environ $15 le cocktail. Il peut être compliqué de trouver une place assise sur la plage horaire du couché de soleil mais des rambardes permettent quand même de poser son verre en restant debout.

Die Rooftop Lounge ist ein richtiger Geheimtipp - man kommt über den Hoteleingang zur Lounge - Toller Spot um den Sonnenuntergang zu sehen. Leider Preislich schon teuerer. Aber ich würde jederzeit weider kommen. Achtung Öffnungszeiten sind nicht so lang - ab 10 Uhr zu.

Service was terrible! The server spilled 1/3 of my drink and blamed it on the bartender for the pour, and didnt refill or clean up her spill on the table and floor. At the end, she was in a rush to settle our bill but also disappeared with my credit card for at least 20 minutes. The host stand was also filled with complaints from other customers wondering where our server went with our credit cards! Very unprofessional and Im going to track my account to make sure nothing else was charged elsewhere.

3 stars for the views and the table clearing staff. Hostess was a space cadet, forgot about us - there were about 3 couples she was looking after. Didnt bring us one of the two appetisers we ordered - when we received them they were average at best at premium prices. Our tip amount got laughed at before we had even left the bar. The real heroes here are the table clearing staff. Very helpful with chasing up our Orders and brought my phone to me that I had left on the couches accidentally.

This is a great rooftop bar in Venice right next to the beach that offers some amazing, unobstructed views. Even though there was standing room only when we got there (Sunday afternoon), the place wasnt cramped or busy. This was my second time here, and its been an enjoyable experience both times. It does get busier during sunset hours, but I prefer being here during the day anyway.

Loved this when we first visited Venice in 2015. The service is slower than Molasses during a St. Olaf winter though and without a reservation youre treated poorly. We came back for the crab dip but it was not only not as good but took twice as long and Im sure our server Laura forgot we even existed. Wont come back because there are prettier views with better service to be found.

I was wowed by this place. I went to a private event for modern family as well as their private soft opening and both times I absolutely loved the space. The food at our event was delicious & service and ambiance was outstanding. I hope they can keep it consistent as this is now my new CA hot spot! Its a must see!

My stars are for the views! Absolutely the best rooftop view I have seen in Venice. You can reserve seats for you and your party. Cocktails are average (the bar downstairs in the same hotel near guest check in has a larger selection of libations and I recommend stopping in there as well after sundown).

Great rooftop lounge with great views. Sunset time would be the best time in the day to go here. Reservations are recommended. The food options are very very limited (5-6 items) but the drinks are pretty good. Service is fast and they offer blankets in the evening to keep warm.

The place for sunset! Make a reservation if you can or you can just stand and still enjoy the view. FYI-Drinks are about $15(we did have a good pour though). Also the hostess stand has blankets if you get cold. Sunset is fabulous from there. You can see LA covered in a rose hue.

Great experience even though we were only there for 30 minutes. We ordered cocktails (theyre expensive but delicious) and hung out on the rooftop with the cool ocean breeze. I appreciated the fire and the blankets you can wrap around yourself. Very romantic

Love the location and scene for drinks on the rooftop right on the beach. Food quality used to be amazing, but went down last I visited. Be sure to make a reservation here in advance and watch the sunset over the ocean from this rooftop lounge.

Whats not to like about this place. Great views of the Venice boardwalk weirdness and out over the ocean while sipping on cocktails. Be aware this place is very popular and wandering in during a busy time and being able to sit down is unlikely.

Located right by Venice, this is a cool place to get a drink right around sunset. On the tippity top of Hotel Erwin! Parking is a bit hard to find in this area but there are some paid lots adjacent to Hotel Erwin or valet.

The best place in Venice Beach to have a bite and drink. Smoke free rooftop a block from the ocean and that you can clearly see. You receive blankets when coming in and there are lots of heaters which help with the wind.

I had dinner and drinks here during my stay at Hotel Erwin and everything was great! I had the Mahi tacos and they were absolutely amazing! Loved watching the sunset and the music they played made it fun and relaxing!

Excellent view over the boardwalk and ocean. Large cocktail and drinks selection and friendly and efficient staff. Recommend for drinks at sunset - they provide outdoor heaters and blankets when it gets cooler too.

Really great place! High has the most incredible views of the ocean and city. Delicious guacamole and chips and the server recommended the Lifeguard Lemonade which was a tasty vodka infused version of a lemonade.
