Its beautiful and so peaceful. And so unexpected. Ive driven right past it many times and had absolutely no idea the temple even existed. I discovered it on Google maps by accident and thought I would stop by today. I hated having to leave to enter back into the real world. I think it might be a portal to serenity...

The temple is a very peaceful place with an intriguing history. Surrounded by green hills and water the property is owned by the city of San Francisco. While there isnt any open hiking trails, if you are passing on the 680 you should take a quick detour.

Has a sense of mistery. Its like a forgotten monument. Very quiet and beautiful. The temple houses an aqueduct and waterfall. The sound is relaxing and blends with the birds nearby.
