I was looking for white wines and their website listed 3, some unique to napa, so I drove all the way up the hill to find the tasting room guy (who proudly stated he is the only employee who is not a member of the family) pouring an average sparkling wine and three reds for a $20 tasting fee. When I asked if he had any whites to pour he made some lame excuses and refused to open any white wines. This guy was a horrible representative of Napa and I was insulted by his banter. I will never patronize this winery or buy these wines.

We have been going to Nichelini for more than 30 years and have watched the winery go through generational and wine maker changes. The family has worked very hard to maintain the heritage and quality of the winery. The wine is excellent plus and the winery is very cozy and welcoming. Taking a picnic lunch is a favorite of my wife and I and our out of state family visitors.
