I love this park. Yeah, a downside is no playground for the kids, but thats fine considering epic views and nice open grass space for picnicking and kicking a ball around. The views from here are spectacular! You can see all of Long Beach, Long Beach harbor, Los Angeles harbor, even San Pedro. You can see Palos Verdes, and even make out downtown LA on a clear day! Seal Beach is also in view of you cross the street toward the ocean. We like to come here and use the panorama promenade, which is at the end of Dawson Ave. Its a nice large walkway going around the North side of Signal Hill. We like to wrap around and take Skyline back to the park. Its a nice stretch, giving you bonus views of Long Beach airport and the mountains in the far background. If you take Skyline back, and you care about some small town history, take a side trip to Sunset View Park. There are some plaques that give the history of some radio towers in the area. Going a little further youll find the oil drilling monument which makes for a nice photo spot. The round trip can fill up about an hour, more if you take your time. Yes, there are restrooms here, not super nice but hey, its a public park.

As is the way of every girl from the I.E. (I.E. represent) I have a love for the Los Angeles skyline. Here, at the top of this hill of signals, we get not one, but two Socal skylines, LA and Long Beach. My wonderful friends Indian Girl From Down The Hall and Mexican Girl With The Legs took me here for my birthday. Micah sadly had an exam the next day and stayed at the dorms to study. Which was fine, you know. My heart wasnt broken at all. The problem was that both bathrooms were locked and I was about to burst at the seams with the yellow stuff, so we had to leave early. Like, next time they better be open, or Im peeing in broad daylight and ruining everyones day!

This little park is one of Southern Californias hidden gems. Located up on the highest point in Signal Hill. Whether you drive or walk up here the views are definitely worth it. The view of Long Beach is spectacular and on a clear day you can see all the way north to Downtown Los Angeles and also Catalina Island to the southwest. The cool ocean breeze up there is welcomed relief on a hot day. Theres limited parking on site and no street parking is available. Theres picnic tables and restrooms and plenty of benches to sit down and enjoy the view. If you get the chance be sure to go up at night for an even more unforgettable view.

I have come here for 4 decades, long before it was a hilltop park it was a make-out park. The views are the best for the area. You can see the Orange Coast all the way north to San Pedro on one side of the look out and continuing right you can see from Palos Verdes, Culver City and Downtown Los Angeles to the other. For a quarter or two you can pay to see through the binoculars and see in more detail. There are no playgrounds at this park for small children, but just 3 blocks away there is a small park with great views to on the same hill.

Its a best place to do a lot of things. If you feel like working out, theres trails that you can take in Hilltop as well as going Down the hill and up. If you just want to relax on a nice day, you would be able to do sight seeing. Once you reach the top, you see Long Beach to your right, and Los Angeles to your right and if the days is clear, you can actually see the Hollywood sign as well. The only thing ypu might have trouble is looking for parking, but overall best place to relax on a stressful day :)

Hilltop is not only a great place to workout but it has a beautiful view of the port of Long Beach and Downtown Long Beach and other cities. At night it becomes a sort of Lovers Lane with couples sitting on top of the hill gazing at the sights and stars but this place also has a curfew and the cops show up around 10 to shut it down but its worth checking out if your ever in LBC.

Nice park, great views. And kinda quiet. Visited after heavy rains and got bit by mosquitos. Watching a mosquito, backlit by the setting sun, land on a bald mans head was painful. Bathrooms are hit and miss. Theyre there, they might be tolerable and they might be utterly vile. If you like watching the sun set and seeing the city lights, its the place to go.

This is such a beautiful spot. You are over looking all of Long Beach and can see the ocean in the distance. There is a nice little park across the street to walk your dogs. On the other side of the hill is a nice trail and you can see the Long Beach airport. Kind of cool you can see plans take off and land. Great spot for afternoon walk or sunset.

Best view around of LA area. On a clear day, a person can see all the way to downtown LA, Catalina, down the coast to Huntington Beach, the mountains, and amazing sunsets over the Palo Verdes Peninsula. Lots of benches for gazing, clean park, great place to have a picnic lunch, do some stretching, cuddling, very relaxing.

Great place to go run or just walk. It is literally a big hill. Great workout going up and down even if your just walking. Just keep in mind after 10 pm your not suppose to park at the top anymore. The security will put cones up closing off the area. There are signs up letting people know after 10 pm you cant park anymore.

Awesome location, in a clear day you can see from hutington beach all the way to the Hollywood sign, also at nigth the view of the city is spectacular but on the down side there are not much parking space and they close at 10, over all this is a great destination for the family or if you want to bring a date

This is the best view around the Orange County area. Definitely a great place to share first kiss or whatever you want to share. Recommend it to any couple who needs a romantic evening to get out of that "rut." Closes at 11PM though so gotta make there early. Beautiful view, definitely cant beat it.

Great place to go to watch the 4th of July. Great place for a jog if you want a challenge. Youll get winded just walking up this hill. A beautiful spot to visit. You can see the queen mary ship and their fireworks and just a HUGE view in Every Single Direction. Amazing.

I always bring people here to get a good view. It is like Griffith Park instead it isnt Griffith Park. You can see all of Long Beach, a far view of downtown Los Angeles, and Catalina Island in the distance. It looks pretty at night go at night.

Nice place to enjoy the sunrise or sunsets... The park itself is not that big but it has pretty nice view. They have some areas that we can walk around like small trails. Located in a top hill, surrounding by nice gated community neighborhood.
