Among other spots in the area that you can go full force on a mountain bike and not worry about taking out old ladys with their seeing eyed dogs! And if you havent been to the top its your loss, because you really get a depth of the topography and the actual layout and design of our LA!! The same hill range that leads into Chavez Revine is part of El Serino and from up top you can almost hear Vin calling the play by plays as you capture the view of Dodgers Stadium in the distance!!!

Great park! Most of the trails are medium strenuousness, with a couple of really challenging ones thrown in. They all seem to loop back to the parking area. Great views, and a perfect spot for dogs. There is an area with a small outdoor amphitheatre, but it looks a little seedy because there is some graffiti and blunt wraps thrown around. Thats unfortunate, but the park feels pretty safe, and has a lot of people out and about, at least in the afternoon when I went .

This is the PERFECT place for a sunrise and sunset with just a little over 10 minute walk, my 10 year old and 14 year old have done the sunrise there a few times now, so if you are a lazy one, this place is for you. The view of this hill is spetacular its also a good place for hiking to boost up your endurance with the hills here. But the view of Ascot Hills is just amazing you can see downtown hollywood and the san gabriel mountains. I just wish this park had more trees

Wonderful place to walk. Amazing views of downtown L.A. Definitely an asset to Los Angeles and most especially El Sereno. Dedicated volunteers are working to return it to native plantings. It is a treasure.

Great hike for days that are not too hot. There no shade most of the hike. Better to go on a clear day as the view would be magnificent, but hazy days are not ideal. Easy enough for kids to do too.

For locals this is a great spot. If you have to drive over 20 minutes to get here, you will be disappointed. The trail is too short for a hike. A run however, is good challenge. Really good.
