Clearly the best bowling alley accessible from SF, but there isnt much competition. It was clean enough and the food was ok. But I cant give it a glowing review as others have - many other large cities now feature very nice bowling alleys that take both the bowling and the food and drinks seriously - thats a 5 star place in my book. A place that tries and falls a little short would get 4. This place doesnt try to be that, and thats totally fine, but that would make it decidedly average in any other town. Here, however, its the best.

I recently went to sea owl to have fun but I didnt they wouldnt let me by a drink and also one of the bumpers wasnt working I asked the guy to fix it and said I would have to move to a different lane I told them no because I wasnt going to go through more problems. When I walked away the guy said to my friend that kid needs to f**k off then we go outside to our car and they follow us out to see if we were gone if seabowl is reading this then I want you to know f**ck you

We reserved two lanes for about 10 bowlers and had a great time here. Part of the reservation required that we get a certain amount of beer and food, which worked out fine. The beer selection was limited but the pizza was better than we expected! There was a certain time limit to our reservation so we had to hurry the last game to get all the frames in before our counter cleared. Clean bowling alley, kind staff, and I would certainly go again.

Huge bowling alley. It can be a little tricky to find if youre not paying attention. Just make sure to turn left when you see the turnoff for Rockaway Beach to your right. Its very busy and crowded on weekend nights. Come prepared to wait or go early. Rentals are average for the area and the lanes are clean. The food is your typical bar food but satiates your munchies.

I LOVE SEA BOWL!!! Gosh this place is great, nice new lanes, big full bar, fun events. Its a little bit pricey, but if you have more than 4 people to split a lane its no big deal. I like to have a cocktail while we are waiting for the lane at the bar because you can see the ocean from the bar seating area. Its such a nice way to start your bowling adventure.

Nice view of the ocean from the parking lot. We had a fun time there with hosting a six year olds birthday party and plenty of options for food/snacks. The arcade is a little small but we still had a good time. The staff was very nice and attentive. Had a great party room with plenty of space. Over all, was a great place for kids birthday parties and bowling.

Great place! Approx 30 well-maintained lanes with real pins - not the lame Lucky Strike pins-on-a-string. Nice bar. Place for kids. Decent pool tables. Best view from a bowling alley Ive ever seen. Walk across parking lot to The Surf Spot bar/grill to continue the fun - occasional bands playing. Tons of free parking. Walk to beach right across the road.

Yep I am reviewing a bowling alley. Its the one in my hometown and to be honest, it is one of the least sketchy bowling alleys Ive been too (and its not one of those fancy pants Lucky Strikes). Its clean, they have decent food and you can bring your family or hang out with some friends. Good old time fun.

The staff is really nice and helpful! The food is pretty tasty considering its a bowing alley. There is a nice bar lounge area where you can get beer and etc. The only down side of this place is the pricing...def will save bucks to go over the hill if you want to bowl for a cheaper rate

Bowling is a sport that is disappearing. But it is one of my favorite things to do .and this is were I enjoy it the most with ocean views . The last time we were you could see whales out the window breaching the water and spouting .something you dont see at most bowling allies.

Great bowling alley. Stopped here a few years ago at the end of a road trip with friends. We stayed at a crappy hotel nearby that this place was within stumbling distance. Very clean for a bowling alley. Drank tons of cheap Busch beer and bowled, obviously.

Sea bowl is decent looking and functioning. It is usually packed. Most lanes are fine, but sometimes we would get a lane that was stubborn and would keep breaking down on us. This is one of the cheaper bowling places around.

Ive been to here many times. Its definitely a Bowlers bowling alley. Dont go expecting everything to be hip and cool, get a pitch of beer, order a pizza, forgive the lack of bowling etiquette and you will enjoy yourself.

Beautiful drive down from SF if you take the 1!! Its all that it needs to be!! Great staff, reasonably priced, decent priced!! Best to go on a weekday afternoon, plenty of open lanes and the rates are fitting!!

Went here for a birthday party. Like most bowling alleys on the peninsula its a little old. Fun place for kids to hang and have a good time. Not a big enough bowling fan myself to come to this place regularly.

This place is fantastic. Retro and modern. I love looking around here. A shame I dont actually like bowling. They have pool tables here that I use from time to time. The food at the counter is pretty good.

6 people. $15 a person for 2 games and shoe rental. Pitchers of PBR for less than $10. Right by the fanciest Taco Bell in the world. Grab a designated driver and youll have the best cheap night out ever.

Was a great place and had good food,. Fun local spot. I went last week and it was pretty good for shoe rentals. Some of the pool tables were a little old or maybe just used a lot. Id definitely go back.

The bowling was great and the party was okay but the room was shared with a small wall barrier and could hear the other birthday party going on really easily.

Arguably the best Bowling alley in the bay area. Sure there are some in San Francisco that are popular, but way too expensive for the same experience.

Newly remodeled. Great if you love bowling. Big screens play music during cosmic bowling after 10pm. Watch the cops late at night driving back to SF.

A bit slow, but the service is good, the arcade fun, and food great. However, it is a bit old, and the lanes are on a very slight tilt.

Great deals after 9pm on a weekday. $6 pitcher of PBR! What a deal! And a huge parking lot that someone living in SF can appreciate

Bowling is a little pricy on the weekends. The owner is very nice and the food is made fresh daily...Great hand made burgers.
