I visited for the biannual Art Walk, a two day open house for artists in residence. A mostly adult event, but you will see families during morning and early afternoon. You will find everything from clothing, eco conscious sportswear and jewelry made from car parts, fine jewelry, photography, textiles, paintings, pen and ink drawings, interactive video installations, pottery, printmakers, home decor, candles, greeting cards, metalwork, sculpture, gothic and carnival art, childrens books, cut and folded paper...something for just about any style or taste. During this event, you may purchase beer or other alcoholic beverages and sit in the beer garden outside; there are several restaurants inside. There is no public parking at facility lot for this event, but free street parking available in the surrounding neighborhoods. Be prepared to drive a bit to find it. Most items for sale can be bit pricey, but most vendors are willing to negotiate.

Another Hidden Gem in LA! So much going on here I need more than a day to check everything out!!!! This is the largest artwalk Ive been to! This event is twice a year and the old brewery, which is now a loft, and other lofts/rooms open up to display peoples art work. My favorite one was the SteamPunk (?) room where there were a lot of intuitive interactive games. The "interesting" one is a room full of grotesque mutilated antique dolls. Not only did I enjoy the art galleries, the lofts were so cool to check out. TIP: - few hours isnt enough to see everything here - bring cash for food/drink - bring water to stay hydrated while you walk around - wear comfy shoes - come with an open mind :) - show up early so you can find good free parking

If you have any interest in art or artists, this is a fascinating place. Twice a year this artist residential colony (converted manufacturing facility) opens its door for a weekend of free window shopping. However, the visitor gets much much more. 1. Hundreds of creative artists displaying their work, some reasonable prices 2. Actually enter and peruse actual homes and work spaces (albeit spruced up a bit for company) 3. A unique chance to actually talk to artist. Some are too busy but some love to answer questions about their art and the experience of living in an art community. 4. Free with free parking 5. A center food court/beer garden 6. Nice people

My very first year attending the Brewery Art Walk and I am in LOVE! What is more fun than appreciating art while drinking a cup of Beer? Walking around into these artists homes and viewing all their creative work while checking out their digs is just as amazing as going to Disneyland as a kid. Yes, I am officially old , referencing to Disneyland to walking through artwork! My rollercoaster is going through each artists mind and recreating their thought process as they create their amazing work! I only went through the tip of the iceberg and will def be back for more !

Really great event where group of artists present their work twice a year. You should really make this a day trip to be able to enjoy all the artwork thats here & the kool surroundings. People are very nice & chill here & you get to also see a lot of kool new techniques of art making & up & coming artists. They even have a bar inside & food vendors inside this place so its a great all day event to try out. FYI, Parking can be a pain here so try to go to get there early if you can. =) I will be definitely be coming back here again. ;)

Really cool place to see some interesting art. Tons of people who live or work at the Brewery opens up their space for the public. There are food trucks, drinks at the restaurant and in the plaza, and some people even sell some things like soaps, clothes, and jewelry. The churros are amazing. There is a rock climbing room in the main brewery building that you can see from the freeway. There is street parking, but get there early if you dont want to walk far. This place is worth checking out during the 2 day Art Walk.

One of the most unique events in LA. Make a calendar appointment for the next one now. You not only get to see great art but you can buy cool stuff, talk to the artist, walk around with your beer and peek inside some great living spaces. Park a few blocks away as it gets busy. Better yet, get in your bicycle or take Lyft/Uber.

It was a really cool compound and neat to see such a large space in LA that is not being developed. All walks of life were at this event.. some with more clothing than others. The beer was good but expensive and there was a good selection of food trucks. I liked that it wasnt over grounded and I think well try to go again.

Fun event. Got to see such amazing and talented artists. From old fashion paintings to laser cut are work. I recommend anyone to see it. Its not a Brew fest its an art gallery showing each individual at studio and style. There was a pop up food place in the middle with Craftsman beer. Food was alright not the greatest.

For a place called the Brewery, I was sorely disappointed in the quality of the beer. Ordered a hot dog, and it was one of the worst Ive ever had. They dont accept credit cards, so beware of that. Art is subjective, I wont review that, but only a couple of artists personally resonated with me out of a hundred or so.

Huge beautiful complex. You basically grab a drink and walk around the living spaces of various artists and look at their work. The best part is meeting each individual artist in their home and learning about them. Cant wait for the next one!

Great local artists and designers that lack the usual angst and anxiety of trying to make it big. Most if not all of the exhibitors are residents and that adds to the authenticity of the event. Great Eastside event.

This place is lively and has amazing atmosphere! They feature many great artists in their respective mediums. Combine that with great food and beer, then you’ll have a recipe for a memorable time.

The Brewery is a 23 ACRE artist loft / warehouse compound that hosts a SPRING and FALL artwalk. Prepare to come both days of the weekend. Lots of food and Barbaras Bar for quaffing your thirst.

Cool collection of art and eclectic artists. I mostly enjoyed looking at the architecture and interior setups/designs of the artists who both live and work at the brewery.

The art walk is a great opportunity to not only see the Brewery campus and its buildings, but also to see the work of great local artists. definitely worth checking out.

The attendees are nearly dreadul people, but the upside is a lot of the trite and derivative artists are gone. Sadly, some of my favorites have moved or no longer show.
