After going to let the local chain store for aquarium plants, finding they only had bamboo. And three weeks later still the same stock... I found this place is only 1/2 a mile from my house........The selection left me stupified...these guys have a lot to choose from. Everything from decor, to live plants to fish, and fish food... Ive been here 3 times. And everytime ive been back I find something new. Almost forgot to mention, they have the best prices, and the attention they pay to each and every customer is to be modeled after... I havent asked but by the way the show runs im betting its a family bussiness.Thanks Lotus Aquarium staff! 10 stars.

A gem of a Fish Store! Extremely knowledgeable, Honest, Patient and Humble. Tanks are all clean , with a Large Variety of different species and equipment. All types of certain fish as well, which is unique. They have everything you need, for any budget. There is no better place for your Aquatic needs. Hands down the best place in all of Los Angeles, not just the South Bay!! Thanks to Chris and his wife. Family owned and operated, and they make u feel like family!!!

This store is relatively small, but you can tell the owners know what theyre doing when you walk into the store. Youll notice a large selection of planted tanks that are clean and well maintained. They carry lots of higher end equipment and products that you dont find in smaller stores or chain stores. Even the fish and shrimp they carry are some that you might not often find in those other stores. I will be back here for sure for my aquarium needs.

One of my Favorite Tropical Fish store in SouthBay! the owner, Chris for sure knows about his fishes, and his tanks are always crystal clear. He always carry great selection of freshwater fishes, just started with saltwater fishes as well! I have been going there for last 3 years and it seem like he carries nicer color fishes than other stores. also his price is lowest in town!! Definitely would love to go back there again and again. :)

Awesome place havent been here since I was a kid finally moved back to L.A. And decided to prep a new tank I was expecting to pay a couple hundred I got a sweet deal on on some good equipment. This place is the best great customer service. (They now take card so dont listen to the rumors)

They carry the biggest super worms in town at a great price. I feed them to my chickens & they cant get enough of them .what I love the most is the great friendly staff thats there they never make me feel like Im being pushed or rushed out to buy something .

Wonderful little fish store with super cool aquariums for sale and an interesting selection. Owner is very friendly and down took earth and loves to talk about fish. They also sell giant black scorpions because why not?
