Cal Bowl is easily accessible by public transport. One option is to take the Hollywood Bowl Shuttle from the Lakewood Lot (Line 660) located at 4678 Daneland St, Lakewood, CA 90712. The shuttle costs $7 if pre-paid online, or $12 if purchased on-site.
Bowling Prices:
The cost of bowling at Cal Bowl is $49.95 per lane for 1 hour and 20 minutes during the day. At night, the price increases to $74.95 for the same duration. Lanes can also be reserved online through their website.

Great atmosphere. The lanes and mechanics of the alley are a little outdated. Out lanes kept eating our balls. We had to keep getting new ones until the finally helped us. The pins kept falling when re racking. Other than that good specials during the week for bowling, food and drinks. They have a bowling shop and arcade games as well. Enjoyable.

The Service here is terrible. I went to buy food and Heather didnt want to give my mother a cup of water. But, gave someone else water. Then, when I brought it to the womans attention about the water she caught an attitude.Then, as I bowled with her the lane was breaking down. Oh did I forget to mention this was all on Mothers Day?

We always bowl at Cal Bowl. They always have really good specials for bowling. They have a nice arcade, its pretty big. We have had our kids birthday parties there and its always a hit! They have pizza place inside and a frozen yogurt place. Staff is friendly and is clean.

Stupid I called in advance to see what time they closed and they said 2. I get there at 12 30 and they had "closed the registers" already. that is some bullshit. Im not going to waste my time there ever again. They have terrible customer service!

average bowling alley. theyve got some deals that make it nicer on some days but a bit on the pricey side if theres no deals. they have a lot of lanes so wait time is short and an arcade and bar that makes the wait nicer if you do have to wait.

Me and my family just bowled there. They have totally remodelled it with big screen TVs everywhere and fully electronic scoring. Its very nice. I took off one star because of the price: a family of 4 cost $52 for 1.5 hours.

Dont be fooled by the snack bar. They only have one size of fries; large. But when you go to pick them up, go to the restaurant where they have three sizes! Thank you snack bar for ripping me off.

4 stars? No way. My shoes stuck to the floor, our lane broke twice, and we were not refunded for time spent waiting on broken equipment. Staff was not very helpful.
