THIS PLACE SUCKS! DONT GO! It used to be a classic old skool bowling alley with a great divey atmosphere but now its been taken over by a bunch of the rudest Armenians imaginable. Theyve been modernizing the place and although the alleys look nice the restaurant has lost all its character. But the way they run the place is outrageous. I went their with my 2 kids and wife, it was a little pricey for 1 hour of bowling and when they took 10 minutes to set up our lane I asked when the timing on the hour started and was told from the time the lane was set up. As we played the computer system messed up numerous times and at one point the cashier, an Armenian version of Snookie but perhaps ruder if thats possible, insisted we switch lanes. After moving everything we regrouped but 5 minutes later the lane shut off saying our time was up. My kids start to cry because we hadnt even finished one game and I go to Snookie to complain that it hadnt been an hour since the lane was set up but rather since they ran my credit card. She called over her manager who was the modern day swarthy version of Lurch who was nothing but a douchebag. $42 for not even one game of bowling, crying kids, and a world of aggravation.

Man, this place... Theres a lot to say about All Star Lanes. I dont know that Id trust the food here, so take your chances. The bowling is fun. The lanes dont get too crowded. The bowling balls have seen better days and you can hear it when they lumber down the lanes. The images of random wild life on the displays will delight and confuse, as will the shitty graphics when you throw a gutter ball. Its soupy in here like a sauna when its hot. They do karaoke at 10p. The song books from the KJ are not packed with too many songs. In fact, it has two songs from the Darkness, neither of them are I Believe in a Thing Called Love. Take care to note the images of the randomly placed food items. Again, I advise against ordering any of it. The KJ is a good guy and can download songs that arent in his book. Its an interesting crowd of hipsters, Oxy students, Oxy faculty who should know better, old people, and Uncle Junky. This is a fun divey and dicey place. Set your expectations low and enjoy the shit show.

Saturday night and there was only one employee working. One. He was renting shoes and lanes, then running over to the bar to fill drink orders, then running to the lanes to retrieve stuck balls, then back to the kitchen to fulfill orders. This guy was a saint, but who lets a bowling alley (or any business) operate like this? The only reason I didnt give this place 1 star was because the sole employee was working so hard to help us out. Wont be back unless I hear of an incredible amount of improvements or that its for sale. Eagle Rock needs a good bowling alley.

This place... Oh man. Bowling balls were old and pitted, drinks were weak and expensive, and there was 1 waitress working the whole place, so we waited over an hour for our pizza and chicken wings! No wait list at a bowling place? We wanted two lanes next to each other and were told that they didnt have a waiting system and we would just have to wait on the side till we saw two lanes open, and then stand in line again. I feel bad for the employees working there.

Cool place to hang out and have a good time and be melow (different from the usual club scene)....Everything is very reasonably priced and staff are friendly. It looks like they are still working on this venue and giving it upgrades slowly! We went down witha bunch of friends, watched footbal game, drank and bowled. It was good times I would definitly recomend it, it aint too fancy but it sure is fun!!

Looks run down, shoes old and dirty. Lanes arent as clean as they should be, thus you wont get desired movement on your ball. Plus cost doesnt help its cause either. $5 a game $3 for shoes and another $3 for socks. Or $20 for up to 4 persons for 1 hr. There is no console for you to input names, its all done up front at the register. Wouldnt recommend for a good time for date or friends.

Pretty dirty Pretty expensive Pretty apathetic Each time the girlfriend and I have gone, we have been one frame from finishing our game and they have refused to let us finish. For a place this empty they should at least give that courtesy. The only reason I would ever come back is for the wonderful bartender Christie. She is quick, sweet, and the only reason to visit this place

This establishment looks nothing like it does online. Its supposed to have three different restaurants but you order food at the shoe rental and are highly disappointed when said food arrives. Bland, nasty noodles...ew! High priced bowling for 1 and a quarter games! Im sad that you have to at least give one star cuz if I could, I would take that back too!

I love every pitted, worn and scratched nook and cranny of this place. A very long-time neighborhood staple. Plus they have like everything, karaoke, bowling, an affordable bar, comedy nights, air hockey, pool, video games and pretty sketchy Chinese food. 4 stars because I wish theyd upgrade the sound system.

Sketch. Old. Falling apart. But cheap. Good for groups. Food is made by the bar tender. Who gets mad that we bring in 40 dollars of tacos after spending 600 on beer and their food. Worst of all is the smell as soon as you walk in. It stays with you. Shoes are all 20 years old and horrifying.

Run down place. Not all the pins will set on some lanes. Bumpers dont always come up. The toy crane are my money. Change machine broken. The music coming from the muddy speakers is something only the old owner would listen to. The audience is Latinos and young people. Wrong music.

Its a small place that is inexpensive compared to other locations similar to this one. Bowling, pool, air hockey and more to do here. The bar has great service and the location is not difficult to spot from the street. Stop by and say hi if you see me there! -Sergio De LA Torre

This place is nice. Food and beverages are served as well as alcohol. There is a mini arcade for the kids and two pool tables. I went at nighttime so the atmosphere is more lively with music playing and disco lights. The parking is located right outside the building.

If theres one thing Im not good at but Im hooked to it, thatd be bowling. This alley has been part of me and my family as this is one of our get together sort of thing. The snacks are not expensive as well so its nice treat for anyone.
