We had a wonderful reception being met with a glass of wine on the drive by two enthusiastic hostesses. We sat on the verandah overlooking the vinyard and my wife was even offered a shawl to keep her warm, talk about friendly service! We loved the wines, the Chardonnays and Pinot Noir, absolutely excellent. It was interesting to hear from our charming and knowledgeable hostess Laura about the grapes and the temperatures that effect the making of the wines. A great experience and the four of us thoroughly recommend visiting this new winery.

The location, scenery and the building are simply beautiful; however, MacRostie put me off a bit because the place is so pretentious. So much so that I was secretly rooting against their wines. To no avail, as their wine was very good too. Because of this, I am forced against my will to give them the fourth star. It actually is a very nice place to stop if you are a fancy person, or are showing off for out-of-town guests.

What a find! We just happened upon this vineyard on our way to another and the property looked so inviting that we decided to stop by. We were greeted with a taste of their 2013 Chardonnay, brought to a lovely table with a gorgeous view. Everything was done right. The tasting room was gorgeous, our wine was superb and our server was extremely knowledgable and helpful. We couldnt have had a better experience.

One of our favorite wineries in Sonoma County. Great wines are complemented by an amazingly situated and architected tasting room, and a correspondingly high-touch approach to hospitality. A great place to experience some authentic expressions of Russian River Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
