Well worth a visit to a true family winery. If youre lucky enough to buy a bottle or two, youll do business with a family member in the barn. Terrace Select is a superior Cabernet and the "regular" Cabernet is excellent. The Zinfandel is the best Zin Ive been able to find, and Ive been drinking California Zins for more than 40 years. Ive been fortunate to be on the mailing list for many, many years. If Rafanelli were the only red wines Id be able to drink for the rest of my life, Id be more than satisfied.

Well, let me just say if you want to enjoy an absolutely decadent Zin. The likes of which I would put up against any of the very best in the world. Including those from Turley and Antinori. This humble family winery is one you must not miss. With a wall full of Gold Metals for Cabs and Zins, and the warmest folks you will ever meet. You will remember your visit and seek out these wines with a passion whenever any of your wine friends mentions the Zin they could never forget, A. Rafineli.

The is our favorite winery to visit when we are in Sonoma County. Extraordinary wines. In fact, just had one at dinner in DC, an unusual chance at drinking an A. Rafanelli wine on the East Coast. Very rare. We have several bottles in the cellar for future drinking, but cant wait to get more!

Mark was great for our tasting. He told us the neat history of the vineyard and wasnt stingy with the juice! Lol. Dry Creek Valley is a great way to see wine country and out of the whole valley A. Rafanelli was our favorite. Weekdays are easy appointments and tasting was free!

Very exclusive... we had a great experience overall. We got a taste of the 06 Zin thanks to Rick there, and it was mind-blowing. They have an amazing cave, and a lovely tour given by the owner himself!
