Will NEVER go back!!! I showed up with my girlfriend, daughter, and girlfriends mother this Saturday expecting a nice peaceful afternoon in the sunshine, but what we got was a horrible greeting by an overly aggressive dog that tried to attack our daughter. We are not newcomers to dog behavior, and this dog was without a doubt trying to get to my daughter to attack her (growling, teeth showing, hair on her back standing up). I had to slowly back my daughter back to the car while the dog continually paced back and forth trying to make her way around me and to my daughter. The owner of the establishment (bald head with a beard) watched the entire ordeal and after summoning the dog back to him after I yelled that I was going to kill his dog, praised the dog with a "good girl" and smiled at me with a smirk as we immediately loaded back into the car and left. Never received an apology, nor did he seem even the slightest bit bothered that his dog was trying to attack a 6 year old girl. I will avoid this establishment at all costs.

I thought the staff was friendly. My kids enjoyed playing with the winery dog in the field next to the building. It is nice that they stay open a little later. The wines were good and it was peaceful. The only critique I have is they took a long time to bring out our food and then the accidentally gave us someone elses which had garlic on it (which was good, but cost extra) and we didnt order it with it. Kind of would think they wouldnt charge us since it was their mistake. Also thought they would be willing to let my wife and I each have a glass and just split tasting 15 wines, but we either had to share one glass or have a minimum of 10 tastings. All in all I liked the place, the decor, the wines, and how peaceful it was, but felt like it cost us a little to much.

I live in the Sonoma Wine Region in California and recently visited Gouger Cellars. I was quite impressed by the quality of the wine, the hospitality and the unique setting: a converted firehouse that backs to an alpaca ranch! They select grapes from not just Washingtons priemier wine growing regions, but also from vineyards in Oregon and Northern California. If you live in, or are visiting, the Portland/Vancouver area, I would definitely encourage anyone one interested in wine, from novices to aficionados, to visit Gouger Cellars.

Gary is fantastic! Willing and ready to educate. His warmth and knowledge make the experience so pleasant. Dolce the resident pup adds a welcoming presence that makes you feel right at home. This experience has led me to ove red wine more than in the past. Gary and Dolce make it all a wonderful afternoon with my daughter❤️

We bought a Groupon for two wine tastings, two souvenir glasses, a bottle of wine and two individual pizzas. The picture on your deal deal showed two decent sized gourmet pizzas. The pizzas we were given were two microwave pizzas that were 4 BITES...very disappointed. Plus they have two big dogs roam the restaurant.

Went in to try the wine, got either bad communication or a rude attitude from the bald guy with a beard. It was not pleasant. He was trying to force us to try all the wines but we only wanted to try what we wanted. The wine was ok. Nice Muscat. The two stars are only for that. We would not go back.

I did not expect to find a winery I would enjoy in this particular location, but its well worth your time to stop in. I had already had lunch, but it looks like it would be a great spot to enjoy lunch also.

Best wine in the area, by a large margin. Doesnt offer quite the winery atmosphere as some other local places, but still a comfortable place to relax and enjoy high quality locally made wines.

I love his taste- the blends he makes are very unique. And, the fact that his wife makes those crack brownies doesnt hurt either. If he has Mine Mine Mine around, snap it up!
