I strongly recommend not to play golf in Shadow Lakes golf course. When I played in the course, I paid only for myself by credit card and three other players paid by cash. However, Shadow Lakes charged my credit card the green/cart fee of three persons (Unfortunately, I found that three days later). I asked a director or COO of the course to check again, however, they said they had the receipt of the credit card for three players and of cash for a player and asked me to check with my friends again. I saw my friends pay by cash at check-in. Please be careful to check your credit card bill when you pay in the course. The course can bill you the amount that your friends already pay to the course.

The recent CA drought hasnt been too kind to the course but they have managed to keep up the condition of the greens and not too many burned out spots. This course is a lot of fun with a good mixture of challenging and easy/attack holes. A couple of the holes are a pain because of the steep elevation changes but still manageable. When I play with friends, this course always makes for an exciting round with plenty of bets floating around.

I have been wanting to play this course for along time. The opportunity finally came last Thursday (11/14). I was some what disappointed because the greens was really bad. When we putted our ball it was like dribbling a basketball. other than that the fairways was nice and I would like to play there again with the hopes of getting a different experiences.

The bartender was ok and somewhat knowledgeable with mixing drinks. But his helper was not helpful at all. Restrooms needed attention and some up dating. Nice venue for a birthday party or small event.

Nice place on the edge of town for holding smaller events of probably under a hundred and fifty people I would imagine
