Modern range facility. Extensive retail selection. That was the good. Now for the bad. This is the only gun club I have ever been to that doesnt allow patrons to go into the store with a loaded gun in a holster. You would think that a business that should support the fundamental right of Americans to defend themselves would be the most gun friendly place. After I finished in the range I placed my locked open, unloaded pistol back in my holster and went out to the desk to pay my bill. A little girl there told me "magazine out" ...unless I was law enforcement. It just so happens I do work in law enforcement but I staunchly refuse to use the position entrusted to me by the people of this state to obtain special privileges for myself. The purpose of the second amendment was first and foremost so that citizens could protect themselves from government. Government agents should not have special rights over and above the citizens to whom we answer. Any libertarian / conservative establishment would support this stance. I suspect the ownership/management are democrats and they are the ones who have actually proven they are not trustworthy enough to be in the possession of guns. The people at the store told me that people pull guns out in the store and thats why they arent allowed to be loaded there. The no loaded gun policy they have is akin to the democrats take guns from everyone policy and that will prevent anyone from ever being shot again. Further reinforcement of my belief this place is run by democrats. By the way before anyone starts thinking that law enforcement officials have a higher level of training than civilians, that is generally true, but I have been muzzled by fellow law enforcement agents on more than one occasion when they mishandled a firearm. One size fits all solutions are rarely effective. If someone is not trustworthy enough to have a loaded gun then their behavior should be addressed, not the behavior of everyone else. Do not support this establishment if you value freedom and liberty. Scottsdale gun club or shooters world are better alternatives.

***BEWARE*** ---- I Only come here because its to close to my home in Chandler. I been here several times. The last visit was the worst. There were New Young Folks working as range attendants. 1st. Over priced ammo!! The guy at the front told me I needed to buy their ammo which was almost 3 times the normal cost. Young fella stated that other Ammo were ""unsafe"". This range is rated for 50 cal rifle ammo by the way. So C2 tactical attendant was lying. 2nd. RACISTS WHITE PEOPLE -- I am NOT referring to all C2 Tactical Employees but a Few of the New Younger Range attendants are total Aryan Skin Head Racists. The Young Range attendants kept hovering over us just because we were Black, like black folk with guns need to be watched. And like we didnt now how to shoot - Im a veteran by the way. While Young White Range Attendants were hovering and watching Us they were making jokes about People on Welfare, Mexicans, and Asians. Meanwhile a group of White Girls next to us were waving their pistolas all over the place -- clearly never shot a weapon before. No muzzle control. The Young White Racists C2 Range attendants had no issue with the ""Unsafe""" Blonde White women But made it a point to place Black folks under increase surveillance for the duration of our visit. The Young White C2 Range attendant had the Audacity to say, "we have police officers working here too". *LOL* -- OBVIOUSLY SOME OF THE C2 TACTICAL PEOPLE ARE WHITE RACISTS POLICE OFFICERS ...I ASSUME. PART OF THE ARYAN BROTHERHOOD HERE IN PHOENIX. JUST BE READY TO DEAL WITH YOUNG RACISTS WHITE PEOPLE ON A POWER TRIP JUST BECAUSE ITS THEIR FIRST CARRYING A WEAPON ....and... THE SEVERELY OVER PRICED AMMO. Bring your own ammo. They will price gouge you on Ammo and other products you can buy online or even Walmart for much less. BELIEVE ME IVE SEEN THESE ARYAN BROTHERHOOD BOYS IN THE SERVICE -- THEY ARE ALL THE SAME..... Very easy to spot. That racists attitude surfaces when you hand a young racists White boy A LOADED GUN....*LOL*

Used a Groupon to take a two person intro to firearms class here (P100). The facilities are nice and clean and there are formal classrooms you actually take your lessons in. There were two instructors Joe Torres and an instructor in training named Steve. Joe has a ton of charisma and was a fantastic instructor. Hes the kind of guy you could just listen to tell stories for hours. There was definitely a lot of practical knowledge given and I learned a lot about basic pistols and how to safely handle, load, and fire as well as some cool info about the mechanical workings of a pistol. Steve was definitely knowledgeable as well but didnt have very much charisma or a good speaking voice. He provided some good info but sort of drones on like hes talking about a very dry and boring subject, which shouldnt be the case. As someone in training I certainly dont fault him. I hope he can find his speaking voice and an even tone that will convey his enthusiasm for firearms. Perhaps a public speaking class? The range was very nice with modern target controls that make it easy to set distance and have them move while practicing more advanced aiming. Had a great time practicing with a rented 9MM. Unfortunately the 22 caliber jammed after every 2-3 bullets fired. The instructor tried to clean it a couple times but that didnt seem to help at all. No apology was given either which was definitely a bit frustrating. Only ended up firing a handful of bullets with the gun and no attempt was made to switch it out after bringing up the issue. Ill probably still end up getting a membership here as I enjoyed the facilities and the instructor. Im excited to take another class and really get a good feel for different weapons. Also if you have your own gun you obviously wont have to worry about poor quality rentals. Keep in mind that if you rent a gun you have to buy C2s ammo. Overall, a great shooting range with great instruction. One star off for the poor rental quality.

Dont come here if youre a newcomer. Told them I was and they just explained how it works and where to go. They put me in a lane near all the experienced shooters because of the loud guns they had that didnt help me keep a comfortable grip every time Im about to shoot and I hear this loud tank-like explosion next to me. Not to mention all the bullets they go through that hits me so it makes me lose my concentration. The guard that watches over everything was a very rude intimidating jerk. Not only does he show "what a real gun looks like" meaning his own, but watches you do things (knowing youre obviously new) and then tells you later how it works (like where to put your stuff, how to remove the shelf to put your guns on, how the target distance works, my position and how Im holding my gun, etc). I was at the end of the lane near the sliding doors and when I was leaning against the wall to drink a bottle water, he opened it knowing it would hit me as he goes through it and doesnt come back to apologize or anything. As a company, your new customers are the ones that will become loyal ones and what sets you apart from every other competitor is the customer service. Especially with the topic of gun safety, you wonder why people will not be comfortable with it or take classes is because you cant provide an informative and helpful way of dealing with it without newcomers feeling intimidated. Im very disappointed and with my first experience this will be my last coming here.
