I was degraded and I will never go to this club again. If you want to do the right thing, I encourage you to do the same and instead attend or host house parties. Other clubs are just as careless about their customers, none of the owners are currently living in Denver, or even Colorado. I was denied access to the club despite having purchased a ticket. What happened was I went to the back to name a person who was normally on the guest list, so I could skip the line. I was there for a friends birthday. I named this person several times without an issue in the past, and very recently as a matter of fact. They stated that there was no such person on the guest list. I told them to double-check, still nothing. So I just go to the regular admission site. They somehow knew that I mentioned a name that wasnt on the guest list, then they start asking me if I drank (Im under 21, didnt drink or take any substances at all, not even pot). They shined a light in my eyes and asked if I took any substances, then again asked if I drank anything, as if they were pressuring me to say "Yes, a little bit" or something like that. I think they wanted to get me for underage drinking, beware of this inhumane scum. The whole situation was ridiculous. I kept repeating that I used the name the last several times and they treated me like a mental patient. They pushed me off the stairs without my permission or telling me to get off. They said I should wait for the manager to sort it out. I asked how long, and the bouncer said it would be a while. I waited like 10 or 15 minutes, asking if I could just get into the club normally, and the bouncer said he would be fired. Wtf, talking about bad management. I eventually ask impatiently how long its gonna take, and the bouncer says 40 minutes. So they expect me to wait about an hour, because some name from the guest list was taken off, and I brought it up. I just bailed, I was pissed off I bought a ticket and I couldnt celebrate my friends birthday because of the most outrageously poor customer treatment I have ever seen. I couldnt get a refund because I had to wait for the manager to sort it out, yeah, I paid for the ticket to stand around wasting time while my friend was waiting for me in the club. It was already late, around 10:30, and they expected me to practically waste my whole ticket while I stand around bored. If you have honor, do NOT support any of the nightclubs in Denver. They will NOT respect you as their customer. Im not the only reviewer who thinks so. The only two owners of nightclubs in Denver are millionaires who do not even attend the clubs, they do not give a damn about you. Find, support, and host house parties, and if any new nightclubs (with new owners) spawn up, support them, because there is pretty much no competition atm. Beta and other clubs are REALLY not impressive enough to generate millions. Its just the monopoly that causes this. What choice do people have? Dont settle for poor treatment, go to house parties instead and meet your potential as an individual to help bring these sub-par clubs down to Earth so they treat people right. This incident pushed me to seriously consider finding a roommate and renting a house that will host parties often, instead of renting an apartment for myself. I hope there are people out there who have as much courage as I. People deserve a fun time withoit being disrespected.

So, I went to Beta Saturday night (09/19/2015) for the first time, even though about 10 of my friends told me not to go. I got engaged the night before and wanted to celebrate dancing. At 1:45am, I’m standing next to my fiancé, this girl comes to me and says that I have to leave. I asked why; she says that I’m too drunk. First of all, I was the designated driver. Second, I’m 33 years old (I know how to drink!) and had 2 drinks the entire night (vodka & cranberry juice); I was not drunk. I tell her “no, I’m not drunk. Tell me what did I do wrong to be kicked out?” She says “huuhh, you need to go”. Like seriously! You are a nightclub with a bar, people will be drunk in there!! If I was really falling out on my ass drunk, or getting on fights/arguments, I totally understand been kicked out. But I was just standing next to my fiancé. Not to mention that were more people outside, clueless like myself, who also got kicked out for no reason at all. I know now why my friends told me to no go there, and guess what?! We will never go there again, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to not go there. Way to ruin our engagement celebration, Beta! Do us all a favor and shut your doors. Or find more qualified security and management crews.

Ive been to about 25 shows over the last 2 years, almost always on Thursday nights. The headlining act hits the decks between 11 and 12:30, usually right at midnight. There is quality up-and-coming and established talent every Thurs/Fri/Sat with an occasional Wed or Sun show. Talent includes a good mix of respected DJs and high-end producers. Only occasionally will really big names appear on the bill, but thats understandable considering the smaller size of the club compared to other nationally-known clubs. Drinks are reasonably priced and it rarely takes more than 5 minutes to make a drink run. Ive never had problems with security and to be honest I would rather they make their presence known and enforce some reasonable rules than for the place to be a chaotic free-for-all. The best things about Beta are the high-end sound system, the quality talent that comes regularly, the reasonably-priced bottle service for those special nights, the low-key casual vibe, the lack of pretentious douchebags and the regulars who are all about the music. If you go to dance clubs for the music, then Beta is the place for you.

My husband and I brought two friends there last night. My girl friend came to visit us from Thailand and we wanted to show her some cool music at Beta. We paid $15 to get in and about half and hour (didnt get any drink there yet because we drank a little bit at the restaurant before we went there), bouncers asked me and my gf to leave because we looked drunk, what? theres no explanation what we did wrong, we just looked drunk. That happened after we came out of the restroom. We have no idea what kind of policies they have for that. I am 36 years old, all my friends are about the same age, so we pretty much knew what we were doing. We paid $15 at 1.30 in the morning, just to show my gf a place and we got kicked out. Great job Beta for ruining our night, you just lost another 4 customers tonight and we will encourage all our friends not to go there. If you guys want to check this place out, be prepare because they can kick u out at anytime with no refund. They judge you from the way you look, not your actual behavior. And that is totally BS. Worst management I have ever seen in Denver.

This place would be okay if they didnt rob a high percentage of their patrons. They have cops at the door to pretty much bully you out from inquiring about refund policy or anything else. Here is their policy. It pretty much says they can take your money based on anything and refuse to allow you in. They did this to my girlfriend. Ive seen they do this to a lot of people down these reviews. Positive reviews have been due to great DJ sets not the establishment itself. Purchase tickets at your own risk. Promoters, Venue owners, Security and Event Staff have the right to refuse entry to any ticket holder, without a refund, for any reason at their discretion, including but not limited to: disorderly behavior, intoxication, venue capacity, breach of security restrictions. Ticket holder is aware that the Venue and Talent are subject to change. Ticket holder is aware that amenities promised by promoters are not guaranteed by Flavorus and are not grounds for a refund, including but not limited to: VIP amenities, drink specials, gifts, express entry, special areas, celebrity guests.
