Wonderful theater, very poor customer service. Purchased VIP tickets, the door was open and lots of people w/VIP tickets was allowwed in to get their merch. When I went up to the door to ask if my party and I could get our VIP merch, a terrible little man shoved his arm in front of my chest, touching me in a way i was not comfortable with, and without even looking at my ticket (printed at home and the paper was folded) and told us to to "get out". I tried to ask about when we would be able to get our VIP merch, and he stepped up in my face and stated "you arent VIP" you are group 3. Doors open at 7." I tried to show him our tickets, and show that we WERE VIP when he closed the door in my face mid sentence. The lovely ladies who helped us to our seats, the bar tender and the merch people were so kind , and the even was so fun, that had it not been for the inappropriate touch, I would have forgotten about it, but I cant. I was so uncomfortable after that. I doubt I personally will come back to the Orpheum which breaks my heart because I love visiting my brick out front. Oh well.....

My husband and I are snowbirds from IL. It was our first time at The Orpheum Theater. We love theater and especially love the theaters that have been renovated to their original beauty. This theater is gorgeous inside and out. The staff was very nice and informative. The only issue would be some rows that you may sit in in the balcony are lacking room if you have knee issues. We saw Dirty Dancing and thought it was one of the best productions we have ever seen. The singing, dancing, and acting were terrific and the way they changed the scenery was so clever and up to date. We would totally recommend this theater and the show.

More the rude people using phones trying to find their seats, the alcohol consumption was not a plus, seeing how we were there for a school performance and adults drinking?what ever happened to wholesome America? Seating for most of the people , including us was a bit confusing,we paid fifty dollars and row 26 was almost to the back of the Theater. Im not looking forward to seeing next year show due to the uncomfortable seating and the general population that went have no manners. Sorry Orphem,it was difficult to enjoy the beautiful Theater.

Our band Northern Light Orchestra did a show here in April..Wow what a beautiful concert hall. I would say the nicest in the United States. Great staff easy access and right in the Heart of Beautiful Phoenix Arizona. The experience was good enough that over 500 television stations worldwide have broadcast the concert we recorded here. They have modest rents, great security and stage hands, the most beautiful auditorium 1st class dressing rooms. We hope to come back for an encore performance.

Nice theater, seats were comfortable and view seems to be really good. Plenty of ushers tip help you to your seat. Egress after the show was easy. There is a bar upstairs and downstairs. Only downside was that both bars were out of snack food and the bartender said thats normal for Saturday. Knowing that, why not stock more?

I cannot stress how beautiful this theatre is. It is a very atmospheric and historical building. Perfect acoustics and the seating is pretty comfortable. I saw City and Colour here and it was a perfect experience. There was a no phone rule during that show. Im not sure if this extends to all concerts.

Nov16 - went for the full tour of the theatre. They go through the history and the architecture. Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Oct16 Love silent Sundays--- live organ music along with a silent film from the past ... Wonderful vintage theatre. Barb did a great job as tour guide.

Very nice theater. I came here to see Shen Yun. They allowed everyone into the hallway before the doors to the theater opened and we were packed in like sardines. Either open the doors earlier or leave everyone outside until you are ready to bring them into the theater.

My last venue there was to watch the Nutcracker. It was great. But I also try to attend for some of the smaller venues like Open Mic night on Sunday nights. Dont miss out. There are opportunities to contribute to the arts throught this theatre.

Beautifully restored interior and excellent staff. Check out the history of the place as well. The acoustics for sound are perfect along with the perfect lighting for all sorts of stage performances. Easy to park nearby as well.

A historical theater made to feel modern. Ive seen many shows here from Broadway acts to opera and every time Im amazed by the experience. The floor level seats are intimate yet comfortable. A great point of civic pride.

Gorgeous theater with a fantastic stage, but it has the usual problem of cramped seating. Im 62" and I have to invade the space of the people next to me with my legs to be able to sit for a couple hours.

Hermoso teatro. Una Foto frente a su fachada es obligatoria si visitas Phoenix.

Beautiful. A few organizational and communication issues with staff during events where they seem to struggle with customer service but the theater is absolutely amazing.

Its a gorgeous place. First built in the 20s. You almost dont need a sound system to hear. Great acoustics. Bar prices kinda steep, but great place to see a show.!

Beautiful and small, but the seats are way too close to each other. It is quite difficult if you need to get out of your seat and need to navigate to the isle.

A beautiful theater. The orchestra seating is staggered, but not sloped. No food or drink allowed in the theater and only one of each bathroom. Parking is easy.
