I bought tickets to the Sesame Street Live show for 5/3/17 on the Mesa Arts Center website. I selected the Gold seats and underneath that said Sunny Meet and Greet. It said to show up at lease an hour early for the meet and greet, so since my daughter absolutely loves Sesame Street its basically all she watches, we show up two hours early just so we could have a good spot in line for her to meet them all. We arrive there and Im getting in line to be stopped by someone checking for tickets I show her them on my phone since I had them emailed to me. She stated that these arent the meet and greet tickets and pointed me to a lady at a booth. I tell her I needed the meet and greet passes since we wasnt being allowed in the line. She stated the same that they were not meet and greet. I pulled up the Mesa Arts Center website and go to the area to purchase tickets where it stats on their own website that what I got had meet and greet included. She connected her manager and they talked for a bit and got off the phone. She stated that her manager said that must of been a technical error and that she was sorry that I should have looked at my tickets. I explained to her how would I know and look at my tickets since I wouldnt have seen then until I buy them?! The manager came over because I wanted nothing more then to see my daughters face and to meet the characters she loves. I explained the same thing again and showed her the website saying they are including. I even took a screen shot of this for proof just in case. All she would say is that there website is incorrect and it was a technical error. I asked her she are you going to honor what your website was advertising? She said no. It was by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The show was great and she loved it but the employees and the place was beyond terrible.

What a resource, what a place! An integral part of downtown Mesas recent cultural rebirth, the MAC offers a host of enriching diversions to sate any artistic palate. Music, dance, drama, fine art, sculpture, crafts... With world-class performances from the likes of Joshua Bell, Cirque du Soleil and Wynton Marsalis, in addition to regular and surprisingly good interpretations of the Bard from AZs own Southwest Shakespeare Company, the Centers performances are ever on the up, increasing in quality and frequency. The gallerys regularly changing exhibitions offer great talking points: not always work to die for, but important in keeping the artistic pulse of Mesa vital. As if this werent enough, the MAC also offers an array of arts and crafts classes in all manner of artisan skills, including glass-blowing, wheel ceramics and jewelry making, in brilliantly equipped facilities with attentive and good-value instruction. All in all, a joy.

I cant even rate this horrible act that had been performed at the Mesa Arts Center. Giving away live rabbits is a horrible thing to do. They are living, fragile creatures, and cannot be just given away as "prizes." HORRIBLE! Shame on you and your whole operation to have let this happen, and let it continue. Youre insensitive to everything around you, and you are acting, to plainly put it, like monsters. You need to stop this right away. They will die immediately without the proper care provided, and theres a whole big list of things that need to be covered. These animals are not prizes. Theyre a companion, a loving pet, a living thing, a responsibility, and you seem to not understand any of those. Make this stop now. I have everyone behind me to take you down, and the next thing on my list to do is report you. I will not let this stand. Please stop this operation, Rhea Korito

One of the best facilities for performance arts in the valley. I love live music and have been all over. Mesa Arts excels in some areas that others cannot. Sure, I love places like Crescent and Marquee that have approachable stand-up areas. Heck, even the Dodge (or whatever it is called) theater has some really fun standing area in the pit, but the Mesa Arts Center is such high quality that it is really attractive in a different way than all the rest. I have seen several groups there and it is not the place to see high-energy acts where standing is important, but for performances where sitting is acceptable, this is the place!

Went there April 29, 2017 through the courtyard after attending the end of year party for Mesa United Way. Nice, quiet atmosphere with friendly staff and a variety of different art pieces using different mediums around the world. They even have fabrics on display and a place to make your own arts and craft near the entrance. No flash photography allowed, but you can take pictures using your phone. The best exhibit there was the Black Box exhibit where there was a outer space vibe. They also had fliers for anyone interested in purchasing the pieces in that exhibit.

Yes.... this place is a wonderful place to see a concert. But my advise, DONT! I bought tickets for my concert 8 months in advance. I was in the 5th row! Then 4 days before the concert they chose to inform me that they moved it to a smaller theater. They promised "comparable tickets". So where did I end up???? THE LAST ROW OF THE BALCONY!!!" In what world is this fair? I would like to thank them for ruining my Christmas gift to my parents. They say there was nothing they could do. They just randomly assign seats. Oh well.... go to heck is their attitude.

We are great fans of them Mesa arts center. Last night proved to be the exception. We had the unfortunate experience to see a performance by Hal Holbrook in Mark Twain tonight. It was a wast of time, money and .the collective efforts of many.Either the booking agent failed to vet this act or the performer was in some way incapacitated. He was bumbling, confused and had no comic presence.Every person who attend should be given a refund of the ticked price plus the expense of of the evening.Shame on the MESA ATS CENTER FOR ALLOWING THIS TO OCCUR !

I hadnt been here in years, and now I wonder why I dont go more often. I saw Todrick Hall perform which was wonderful. I would easily give 5 stars to his performance, but that is not what these stars are for. I am giving five stars to the actual venue. The staff was helpful, the location easy to navigate through. It is clean, sleak, and the place is visually appealing. The only negative was the somewhat small chairs.

We sat In the top row of the upper middle section. From our seats, we were not able to fully view the audio/visual presentation that was an integral part of the artists performance. The top portion of the stage curtain obstructed our view. We felt like we were only able to view half of the show. We ran into another couple at the performance that had a similar experience. Very disappointing and an easy fix!

The 3 story architecture of the building uses Arizonas natural light a native plants and trees. Wonderful use of space for concerts, crafts, events for local artists such as Corinne Geertsen. Her historical photographs with a mix of humor and surreal settings keeps your mind at full attention. The 2nd Friday of the month they have many wonderful artist and events going on for the entire family.
