Nobody in the foursome I play with had played there yet, I got a good price from GolfNow, so we thought wed play a round there. I go to check in at the Pro-Shop, and after politely waiting for the guys behind the counter to finish their story about what they had done the night before, one of the guys checks me in and takes my money as if Im interrupting his story time. He tells me I can pick up my cart by where I came in, then goes back to story time with his buddy. I didnt really think much of it and went to the range, which was OK despite the 50s music blaring over the PA system (even on the 1st tee). Again I didnt really get too upset, we teed off and started our round. Since we had never been there before, and have played a few courses with no "cart girl" or one that you only see once during a round, we each brought one beer and a Gatorade. The cart girl runs into us at the 4th or 5th hole, says we cant have the beer, takes them and pours them out on the spot. Again, we understood, most places have that policy, so we didnt put up a fuss and kept on playing. At the turn we each bought a beer from the cart girl, gave her a larger than usual tip and played on. At hole 16 the cart girl pulls up and says we have to leave the course because she found a beer can in the garbage at hole 7 and assumed it was ours. However, she did say that we could finish the last couple of holes if she could search our bags and if she didnt find any more beer. We let her look, she didnt find anything and we finished our round. I liked the layout of the course. It wasnt in great shape, but it was OK. We will be going back. If they are going to be that strict on the "no outside beverages" policy, maybe the guy in the Pro-Shop should save story time for off-duty and warn new visitor about the strict enforcement.

Stay Away!!!! Golf Course is great management is the opposite. Played a 1/2 a round of golf in February. After been verbally beat down by the cashier to sign my credit card receipt for $295 (for 2) I went out to the first tee. Played the first 9 holes in 4 hours and 5 minutes, then the wheels fell off. The turn was 1 hour back up and 10 & 11 took another 1:15. I am in 4:15 of golf on the 12th tee. This gets worse..... We decide to bail because of Saturday night dinner plans and we passed 3 groups that had 8 golfers each. Starters vanished, management took the money grab from paying customers. When we returned the cart, both employees wanted to clean are clubs and could see the frustration. They both confirmed they were afraid to go inside but told me to dispute the charge on my card, only to follow their directions and Capital One wasted another 8 hours of my time, and the club provided a copy of my sales receipt they so wanted me to sign in the beginning of the round. Sounds like a big scam to me. You should know this was Super Bowl weekend and the Waste Management Open, most courses (the reputable ones) did not have available times. I wish the Hilton was reputable!!! They just wanted the money. This is a course, property and Hotel I will never patronize again. This would be Zero stars but Google requires at least one.

Had a great round here a few weeks back! This was my first golf experience on the west coast and it was awesome. The hills, the views, the lack of trees.... A+. The sheer amount of space for me to still lose the ball... F, but thats more of a reflection of my own poor golfing than of the course, of course. Although we arrived a bit late, carts and bags were ready for us to head towards the range immediately and we were on the first tee within 15 minutes. Once we teed off (poorly), the course brought us all kinds of happiness and sadness; there were hills, dog-legs, beer breaks, cigar breaks, club breaks, balls in yards, long short games, backs thrown, cactus pics... and so much more. Overall, a wonderful day on a beautiful course. I only wish I was better at golf to really challenge the course, instead of the course constantly calling me challenged (not PC, course!). Would love to come back! Protip: you better play all 18. Turning around at 9 is a 3 mile trip back to the clubhouse. Bonus: Cool little clubhouse bar to laugh about your game or kill some time before your tee time

One star facilities, one star course conditions, less than one star service.... i had wanted to play this course for a long time, and will never again... the old guy that looked like mario at the bag drop didnt take my bag from me, didnt offer to clean my clubs after the round, didnt advise us to "stock up now" because there wasnt a beverage cart, didnt advise us that if we wanted a bucket of balls to grab them now because they werent on the range... he clearly didnt want to be at work, hes that type of person that is taking a job from someone who actually wants to work... i worked in the service industry for a long time, both bag drop and serving, i generally tip big because i remember those times... not this time. The course was rock hard, greens were like cement, dry and dead spots from the tips to the greens... i was beyond unimpressed, the "service" set the tone.

Horrible experience. The person behind the counter ignored me and my 4-some upon entering as I patiently waited for him to (throw away a piece of paper, grab a pen, check his phone go around the counter and them come back) and them finally said do you have a tee time? Come to find out it was the GOLF PRO... and I asked if he was the only one working (trying to be understanding and polite) and he replied rudely " Yea why?" This course is decent and the other people were polite and we had an ok time. The Golf Pro seriously ruined my experience and through consensus my 4-Some and I will NEVER come back to the course because of how RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL the so called "Golf Pro" was. Even if this was the last place he could find a job and was crying about his situation he shouldnt take it out on the customers.

The course gets a 4 star on condition and fun level. However, the hospitality on the course sucks to a score of negative 10. We played on a Friday with a 1pm tee time and there were no less than 5 groups behind us. Were on hole 3 and the cart girl lets us know its last call because shes hot (it was 104 degrees). Im OK with that IF they had cold water available for the rest of the round. NONE unless you want to count the nasty tasting water fountains that were warm. Theres a club house like thing on the turn but ofcourse it was closed... The main clubhouse was a long long way from the turn. The round costed us $430 for a foursome so they should be making enough money to hydrate their customers. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.
