My dog and I love this park! I have met the best group of dog owners and their dogs than any other dog park Ive visited here in Arizona. When you have such friendly people its only natural they have good fun loving dogs as well. Everyone Ive met takes much interest in their dogs and is always friendly to all the other dogs who visit there. The many dogs Ive met are very socialized and love everybody they meet so get ready for lots of dog kisses and love. As for the gated dog play areas, there are two separate gated playgrounds. One for the larger breeds and one for the smaller guys. The park people take very good care of the facility and there is water and clean-up supplies for the dogs in each playground. There are benches and shaded areas throughout the playgrounds.

The splash pad and play equipment at Pioneer Park are great, but I hate that they arent separated. I have two small children, and the larger climbing equipment is right next to the splash pad, so older kids will come flying out of their play area and run right into the little ones trying to play in the water. Just having the splash pad gated off from the rest of the play area would be really helpful. That said, this park is awesome, and they host some great events like Food Truck Fridays during the summer. They have a whole gang of food trucks come out and park near the splash pad, so its a fun thing to do as a family on summer nights.

I love this park. Its honeys favorite place on earth. The water actually stays on all night. My only suggestion is that there could be a better drainage system for the water fountain. My dog is constantly tracking mud into my car when we leave since the water fountain is right near the exit/entrance. Also at night it could be a bit brighter. Other than that its a great place for dogs and community. A little tip for cautious or new park goers, please unleash your dog in the leashing/unleashing staging area. Dogs more often than not feel threatened/intimdated/protective while on the leash around unleashed dogs.

Food Trucks!!! - Splash pad - Families picnicking on blankets, enjoying the Phoenix summer evening - The sounds of children having fun in the water - And to watch "the kid" come out in the parents when they see how much fun the children are having - It really was quite comfortable considering how hot it was during the day - And lots of awesome food - Good company, fun conversations with people visiting the park and the event - Always entertaining when stories are being told - Just a general good time for all -

I love the splash pad here and the playground area. It is well shaded with bathrooms but I HATE the crowd there. People let their kids run around like wild animals unsupervised. There were numerous times when older kids plowed over my 3 year old because they werent paying attention. The parents are no where to be found. They really need to have a security or park ranger there all day monitoring people there. I really wish it wasnt this bad because I would come here more often.

Cleanish restrooms fantastic splsh pad and play ground. I have 2 kids (6 and 3 and a half) so the closeness in play areas makes it ideal for a single mother like myself to maintain the ability to watch both my kids in a general main area. Around light poles in the playground area i got the scent of cat urine. Other than that i loved the squishy comfortable flooring, really felt good on the soles of my feet. Better than my sandals actually.

Clean, plenty of parking, lots of space, lake with fishing (I dont fish but its cool), sports, dog area. Lots of times there is no available sitting. I wish there were more covered picnic areas throughout the park, there is plenty of places for them. If you forget to pack a lunch there is a Circle K near by were you can put together a simple picnic if need be.

I take my 2 year old here about once a week (different days of the week) and he loves it! Theres 3 sized playgrounds, so he stays on the 2 small ones. They also have the splash pad that stays on til i think 9pm (could be later). They have Men & Woman bathrooms that have always been clean when Ive used them. They have huge fields of grass and baseball fields.

BEST splash pad in town!! And the playground is amazing too! And its ALL covered. Only downsides are that it is not gated and theres a lake right next to it so that gets a little scary if you have kiddos ruining in opposite directions. Site lines are a bit tough too (very easy to lose sight of your child behind equipment) so we always go in groups

Love this park. The dog park is awesome and I try to go at least once a week...met some really good dog owners there. I like that big dogs and little dogs are seperated. Also Lots of people enjoy walking around the lake there. On the other side is a great playgound for kids and in summer has some water splash fun for the kids too.

Ive been here twice for the food truck get together occasionally on Fridays but this park is great. There is a lake for fishing, baseball field, mini water activity for the kids in the hot weather, dog park, etc. So much to do for one park. If youre board here then theres not much that can entertain you. Great family fun place.

I love this park and love taking my 2year daughter to this park. I live about 20 mins from this park because I like it, I drive over there to take her to the park (I dont take her to any other park). This park is always clean, you feel safe. I love that it has the splash park and the separate playground for the smaller kids.

One of the larger parks in the West Valley. You can bring coolers and food, and if you prefer there is a snack bar. The snack bar server various ball park necessities including pretzels and nachos with jalapenos. The other night we were there it was cold out and they were even serving up the hot chocolate and coffee.

I love this park! The only downside is the open lake. My young son use to run away from us whenever he got the urge. During one visit, he ran towards the open lake not far from the playground and with there being no barrier, it could have been tragic. I hope Peoria finds a way to block it off to protect children.

Was happy to see that parents are actively watching their kids. Facilities were clean, park is well maintained. Parking was sufficient. I liked the cushy flooring in the park. It was comfortable to walk on and increased safety if a child were to fall. Major downside...it smells like cat urine. Not sure why.
