This is Adriber I will always provide the best and honest reviews. This is a beautiful big park. Great place to have a picnic and ride your bikes, skate or run. And see enjoy the view of an animal walk by you such as a chipmunk, chicken, turkey or peacock and so on. The children play ground is nice not very big but nice for them to have fun. Great spot to have partys I even seen weddings. Just a reminder dont trash the park. The park is right next to a college facility and firefighter station. You can also enjoy a book at the library all next to the park. The only suggestion to the park is that I really dont like how they have the soccer field and baseball field lock up. When I see does sections in the park it make you feel like for an instant your in a 3rd world country park. It would be nice to make them accessible to the public. As always Im the firm believer of quality over quantity. This is my review and remember always look for adriber for the best and honest review.

Ive been looking around the area for photo shoot locations, and this place really fits the bill. Its clean, its green, and it has a bunch of different nice-looking spots. There are benches, tables, grills, trees, vintage buildings, a play set, gardens, and a kind of staging area. There are cats, too! I think theyre stray, but theyre very friendly and fairly clean. The place doesnt stink like you might expect with stray cats around, either. I plan on coming back here many times in the future both for photo shoots as well as just nice days out with my girlfriend and family.

This is an amazing park! Its huge! The Homesteaders park is connected to it and is something everyone in the Valley should see. They have peacocks running around all over place and its a great place to do photo shoots. The BBQ area at Sahuaro is really nice and its a great place to host parties. Wonderful park! Just make sure you are out of the Homesteaders section before sunset as the gates get locked and the park ranger gets really upset. We got locked in while hunting Pokèmon and got lectured for being there after sunset.

Its a great park with a historic section and a regular park section. There are a lot of citrus trees that smell wonderful in spring when they are in bloom. Ive never seen so many peacocks, but here they roam the park and library grounds freely. The historic section closes at sunset. There are plenty of tables to have a picnic or party. There is also a dog park to take your pet to socialize. I enjoy coming to the park for an afternoon walk/run.

I used to own a home across the street from this Park. I watched the City of Glendale work hard to get it to the Historical Site it is today. Not only are the original ranch buildings here, there is a play area, huge area for families and groups to cook and athletic fields. There is access to the library to the north and Glendale collage is to the South. They continue to have a large group of peacocks as well which is a delight for all ages.

I love this park. Its great if you just want to chill out in the grass and have a picnic with your family. I exspcially love the old buildings and I always bring my camera to take beautiful pictures of my baby and the animals there. There is many things to do at the park and if you have children they will absolutely love the playground. I would highly recommend for anyone who hasnt been there to check it out.

Beautiful park! The wild fowl are gorgeous. My only issue is not with the park itself. My issue is with parents not teaching their children that chasing the peacocks and other wildlife is not a good idea. I have watched parents just allow their children to chase, throw rocks at and generally torture the wildlife at this park.

I love this park we have been coming since I was a kid and now I cannot wait to bring my kids here! They maintain the park well. And the events held here are a blast one year we attended the Wild Western Festival here! Great place to bbq and have parties! The dog park is also one of the best in town and well maintained!

The park is beautiful, the restrooms look like something out of a horror movie. It is busy on the weekends, but pretty mellow during the day on weekdays. If you are planning an event, call ahead and rent a ramada. You get tables, a great outdoors kitchen with sink and grill, and, most importantly, shade.

The playground side is getting a bit run down and dirty looking. The bathrooms need a big time clean up and make over! Its always fun to walk around the old buildings and see the peacocks. I wont BBQ there or go after dark, but its ok to let the kids expel some energy if we are in the area.

This is my favorite park. They have lemon, lime, and peach trees; grape vines; rose bushes; and other crops to look at and pick. But my favorite part is feeding the free-roaming peacocks and chickens. Theres also a big playground at the other side of the park and it butts up to the library.

This park offers many activities. It has a dog park, a playground, fields to play sports, and a ranch where peacocks and chickens live. Its a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy nature. There are groves of oranges and grapefruit that gives it a nice touch of nature.

Had my wedding ceremony in the garden (late April). Only bad thing is that other people in the park dont respect the area where the wedding is being held and the staff doesnt bother to kick them out. Other than that it was great price is good and the house was awesome.

Its a really big and amazing park, I loved it! I played some volleyball here with my family and also got to enjoy the little museum and historic houses they had here as well. Its definitely a place I would recommend to bring your kids to more often.

Every time I come I get harassed by a homeless person or a park ranger...park ranger always wants to know what Im doing... I didnt know a grown up with their phone out just sitting not up to anything should be questioned.. but okay..

Beautiful, expansive park! It has multiple characteristics...wildlife with the peacocks and chickens that roam freely, historical buildings, playgrounds, trails to walk....truly a gem to visit if you havent already.
