This is a huge Park. Wish there were more guide signs to know everything this park offers. Ill tell you about it. Youll love it. There 3 main areas and they are all a far distance from each other. It is like an Isosceles Triangle with the dog park at the farthest West point away from everything with a token little toddlers park next to it with a bathroom across the parking lot closes to the soccer fields. In the very center of this triangle right by the main soccer fields is a large concession stand with bathrooms on its west side. The parking lot driveways are a little confusing at first when trying to find the way to go to where you want. On the corner, right by the entrance is the fishing pond with a beautiful Japanese Lantern garden on a little island extending out into the pond. A cute, brass capped bridge lets you cross onto the island into a circular shaded structure made of thick logs, you can sit and relax as you enjoy the view. The ponds pump station has 3 beautiful murals. There are ducks to feed and a free lending library box station where you may take a book to read as you enjoy the clam of the park. If you choose to take a book just please bring another book to leave in its place. The childrens play area across the parking lot at the pond has a wonderful music stations and the newset design in climbing equipment, although it is wood chip covered under a shaded tent. It also has its own bathroom. Past the baseball fields to the South East corner of this park is another wood chipped play equipment area next to the splash pad and really nice quality grill and picnic pavilions and bathrooms. Thats then thing I love about this park, easy bathroom access. While I was there i saw several trees being readied for planting. Give 10 years, there will be some very nice mature trees in this park.

Went for the dog park today for the first time. Will most likely be the last time. Not well maintained at all. Dogs were bored and laying down after ten minutes. Dog crap all over, no poop bags, drinking fountain leaks, garbage. Just not impressed at all. No one else was there for the 30 minutes I was. This is the closest park to where I live but I will got the extra mile/minutes to Goodyear or Peoria dog park instead as they are a million times better.

The larger play area was disgusting and dangerous. Several of the climbing pieces were broken or about to break, the wood chip level was very low and filled with trash, and the majority of the sidewalk was covered in what looked like soda and ants. Even parts of the play equipment had sticky goo dribbled down it. The cherry on top was the person who had backed up his van to the park so he could sell snacks and candy right out of the back.

The playgrounds!! Man, talk about a super rad time. All of the equipment is brand new and it allows the parent to be incorporated into playground times. They have a manual merry-go-round, heaps of spinning chairs and a music area. If youre looking for a way to be active with your kids, take them here. If you want to feel like youre a child, I highly recommend taking the equipment for a spin. Great times.

Husband went there to go fishing, usually we go to Surprise Lake. This park is much smaller, especially the fishing area. But didnt have to deal with any other fishermen, or baeking dogs at the dog park. He had a very profitable experience! Caught the park limit in just a few hours! Only thing they could make nicer is some shaded seating around the lake. During the weekday is most peaceful time to enjoy.

The pond needs attention BAD! All the bird poop ends up in the pond and does not get cleansed. Day time sinks like poop and night time, you cant even notice the poop in the water. There is bird poop all over the sidewalks there. And i wouldnt even think about going by the ponds Ramada! Sooo much poop ends up by the Ramada, its unbearable! It would be a good place to fish if the city cleaned up more!

I would rate this park a 5 star but the splash pad is closed during the week until Memorial Day. It reaches temps in the 90s staring in May so this is a really stupid rule. Its not to save water either because they dump tons of gallons of water onto the dead grass all year. The rest of the park is amazing. Lots of playgrounds for kids and big open fields for sports.

Dog park not maintained as well as sports fields, yet just as important to those who use them. A great amt. of trash that could harm dogs if ingested. Also many ground squirrel holes that need filling daily to prevent dog injuries. I love the park as does my dog but must walk through the dog park each visit to insure safety for her.

I love what theyve done to the place since the remodel. The playgrounds have been updated and the city even added basketball courts and a splash pads for the kids. The park has come to life, it looks amazing. It is also very close to restaurants and shopping centers for when the kiddies get hungry.

The sports complex is beautiful. (Soccer and baseball/softball). The facility is well maintained. Theres also 3 different playgrounds for different age groups and activities. Great place for play dates. Shades on the playgrounds, and picnic areas. Theres also a brand new splash pad and a duck pond.

I took my dog to the dog park to burn off energy. She had a lot of fun with a bunch of other dogs. The dog park has ywo area - active dogs and inactive dogs. I havent had any issues while visiting. I like that you can see how your dogs might interact through the fence before you get all the way in.

We go very early in the morning to walk the dog around the park. Its about 1.25 miles around, which is a decent distance. There is a fenced dog park area, along with multiple play-scapes for children. The soccer fields are a little bumpy, but very well lit. Plenty of parking to boot.

This park is a good family spot, theres a play area for the different age groups and s nice duck pond for those who are just looking at hanging out. Theres also large fields and a ball parks attached. The parking lot is expansive and the freeways close but not too close.

Beautiful park with so much to do. Duck pond with lots of healthy, friendly ducks. Modern playgrounds. Sports fields and basketball court and tennis court, etc. So clean, Ive never seen so many trash cans lol, its obvious that people actually use them too.

Splash pad is super fun. Its right in-between the restroom and playground. & it has the picnic/bbq area right behind with a playing field right behind the picnic/bbq area. So no matter what your kids want to play theyre not too far to see.
