I only had a 60 person guest list including the wedding party and wanted a more intimate setting that was not overly fancy but was still beautiful. I had seen several lower cost venues that were cramped and were not very accomidating for getting ready so I was not very pleased. I had been to the Portico several times with a few other friends who were planning weddings on a budget. Kyle and Amy were very welcoming for my first visit. They were flexible with our down payments, head counts, and when we could come in to pay off balances due. On our wedding day Amy kept me calm and collected and any "issues" that came up I was not made aware of unless Kyle and Amy could not fix it themselves. I would have to say they were a huge part in making our day stress free and fun. We came in almost 2k UNDER budget and still had a beautiful ceremony and amazing reception.

We loved our wedding at Portico! Amy and Kyle (the owners) were very helpful the entire time and they were ALWAYS very prompt to answer questions either by phone or email. The price was good for a Saturday compared to other places, and we really appreciated that they provide the opportunity to rent the venue without requiring you to use preffered vendors. We were able to cater our wedding with our favorite Italian restaurants food instead of a catering business. We used a few of their reccommended vendors and all of the ones that we used, we loved! Overall, we had a great experience and would reccommend it to other people.

Portico Wedding Venue was the absolute best place my husband and I could have chosen to get married. Kyle and Amy Schafer made all the preparations super easy and the companies they have teamed up with are fantastic as well. We got absolutely wonderful remarks about our wedding from our family and friends and feel that if any other happy event were to take place in our lives, Portico would be the first choice! Their attention to detail, and the ease to work with them made what we had heard was overwhelming, one of the easiest and most memorable experiences of our lives.

This venue is beautiful. It is owned by a couple, Amy and Kyle. Amy is also a photographer, i highly recommend her as well. She is so great and easy to work with, she has the photography and the wedding coordinating down to a science. She knows what she is doing! Kyle honestly wasnt great to work with. He had a attitude a handful of times, I was not a fan of him, but Amy makes it worth it, and the property is amazing. It flows perfectly for a wedding. I could not have asked for a better wedding day.

Although it has been a little over 2 1/2 years since my daughters wedding I still recall the ease of planning it! Kyle and his wife were PHENOMINAL! They helped me maintain my wits as I planned THE WEDDING OF HER DREAMS for my daughter & son-in-law while they were living in Texas. In the end they accommodated us and helped everything FALL INTO PLACE! Thanks Portico for joining me in creating a lifetime of memories and giving my Jacquelyn & Brandon a night they will NEVER forget!!!

Amy and Kyle are absolutely amazing. My husband and I recently were married at Portico with one of the all-inclusive packages. They took care of nearly everything. The planning and wedding day was as about as no stress as one could have for a wedding. The venue was gorgeous. Amy and Kyle took care of every little thing the day of the wedding like true professionals. They were able to create a truly special day for us and our guests. Highly recommend looking into Portico!

We booked this venue in almost blind faith over the phone from New York and they exceeded our expectations. Amy and Kyle are awesome!!! They made our day exactly as we wanted and did so thru email, which to say the least is amazing. We were stress free and they are just the kindest people. We loved our wedding, the venue is beautiful and romantic. The food and cake were outstanding. My flowers were perfect. Highly recommended. Thank you guys for a beautiful day.

I had my wedding here on December 9th, 2016. This is such a beautiful venue, and Kyle and Amy were amazing to work with! They go over every detail with you, and make you feel confident that your big day will go on without a hitch! It was an amazing experience for myself and my husband.
