I had the same experience as one other reviewer. I went to hear a favorite performer of mine, and she was as lovely and talented as ever. However; the owner of this place was a bit overbearing and chose to use the performers mic to publicly berate the audience; some of whom were talking more than he preferred during the performance. There were far better ways to get his point across than what he did. He should stay away from the mic. While I understand and applaud the goal of a peaceful and respectful listening venue for talented musicians, this man ensured that it was not....including some trumpet player in attendance who decided to act as the owners proxy in berating the audience as well. So...instead of a relaxing and welcoming venue, I ended up feeling unwelcome and I left early. It ruined my listening experience. Ironic. I can hear this lady sing in many local venues. I doubt Ill be back to this one.

Its o-k... It needs more substance. The acoustics are good though. I would recommend at least a bar and coffe and couches instead of hard tables and chairs. They have a very small selection of beer but not much else. We kind of felt interrogated by the owner? Manager? Instead of welcome. Probably wont be back.

Fabulous venue for music lovers and musicians! Jim the owner did a great job making everyone feel welcome and at home. He was also very supportive of the artist performing. This was our 3rd visit and we look forward to going again. Thanks Jim and "Mean Mary" for a great night out!
