A wonderful nature preserve with a beautiful secluded public beach about a mile walk through marsh! The beach is well hidden and besides a few locals and other explorers the beach is virtually empty any time I go here. It is easy to find an area of the beach to lay down a couple towels and just enjoy the sun and surf without a soul in sight! Would highly recommend for anyone who doesnt like a crowded beach and enjoys a little privacy with the occasional friendly fisherman or local walking on by! There was another reviewer on here who intelligently reminds others that there are no public facilities here, so make sure you heed his words.

Great hidden gem! I wouldnt swim here, but if you are looking for a secluded walk on the beach, this is a great place to check out! Theres a few miles of shorline, lots of sand and shells - and rarely more than a handful of people. Pets are welcome between Sept 15 and May 15th, but not during the summer. This beach used to have quite a bit of trash on it, but I think groups have been cleaning it and I also see alot of people walk out with a trash bag and pick up small stuff they find on the way. If I just want to go for a walk on the beach and not interested in swimming, this is always my first choice.

Love this beach! It puts other beaches to shame. Dolphins, crabs, tons of birds and beautiful sand. It is a small hike to the beach. DO NOT attempt to take a stroller on the trail. I even took our wagon and pulled our stuff and my toddler and the large gravel rocks were too lose. I made it there and back but with great difficulty. So, now I take the toddler with a baby carrier and it is just perfect! The beach is very theraputic and we make ut an "every weekend" adventure :)

Visited Dog Feces, I mean Grandview Beach, today for the first time. The beach is awesome once you get down the trail covered in dog crap. 37 piles of crap to be exact. I counted. I guess the rich folks continue to try and drive the Public away by not cleaning up after their pets. Nasty to say the least. Will I go back? Yes! After May 1 when dogs are not allowed.

We live right around the corner from the preserve and come running on the beach often. We love the short trail to the beach and finally arriving at the bay. Its gorgeous. Lots of ghost crabs and even some dolphins from time to time. Busy on nice weekends, but very private during the week. Bring your dog after September 15th through May 15th for fun in the waves!

Pretty nice beach, very quiet area and a bit of a walk to get there, so be prepared if you have small children or a lot of stuff to carry out! Better to go when its low tide, there are stumps in the water that will catch you off guard when you cant see them! But Ive noticed the water is much warmer here than other parts.

Great place to go for a less crowded experience. Just make sure you take your bug spray for the trail leading to the beach. If you take your dogs make sure they have flee and tick medicine. I was pulling ticks off my dogs after a Sunday morning at the beach in April.

This is a nice nature preserve. There is a good amount of seating along the trail, thanks to the boy scouts. The beach is nice, and it makes a great spot to get away. Because it is a bit of a hike to get to, the beach is not crowded.

Grandview is very pretty. However, it is a wildlife preserve. Therefore there is nothing in the way of facilities there. So, keep those things in mind as you plan your outing there and enjoy nature.

Love the beach itself. But these dogs owners are not waiting til off season to bring their dogs so it severely takes away from the experience and how often I go. Just counted 4 dog owners here smh.

Its secluded enough that you dont get big crowds, the beach is very nice, and if you want to get a long walk in, theres enough beachfront to do that. Its my favorite public beach in Hampton.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! We kayaked here from the Fox Hill Kayak Launch, and it wasnt strenuous, had the beach to ourselves and it was so beautiful and peaceful. Definitely my new spot!

You can take your dogs on the beach during the off season...my dog really enjoyed walking on the beach and there werent too many people out there. Ive never been during the summer.

One of the most scenic beaches in the area. Quiet atmosphere, secluded setting. It is an excellent getaway location to escape the hustle and bustle of the Langley area.

Nobody around, like having beach to yourself. Always very windy when I go, so be prepared for any type of weather. Lots of sand discoveries to be made.
