Incredible Experience for Cub and Boy Scouts! If I could give them ten stars for their scouting program I would. We recently took our cub scouts for an overnight at the Science Factory and it was the most wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Whenever we needed something or had a question, they were right there and ready to help with smiles on their faces. They also served us a wonderful breakfast and made sure that we were all comfortable and happy. The scout program includes an overnight in the factory, where the children are allowed to camp out wherever they want. The scouts are giving a list of science experiments to complete and they fill out what they learned basically. They then receive a special scouting patch for their achievement in science. It is educational, but also fun. In addition to the science and education requirements, the children are allowed to run, play, explore and experiment at their leisure. This allows the children to discover the wonder of science for themselves and engages them in a fully interactive experience that will delight young minds to no end. Some of the best exhibits include the sound and light stage where children can perform and play, the light and lenses room, the roller coaster building, and so much more. The fun is endless, the learning is enjoyable and the staff is wonderful.

The Lancaster Science factory is a fun and educational experience for children of all ages and levels. It provides a unique way to engage children and teach them a variety of different science centered principals that can not be found anywhere else in the region.the Science Factory also supports organizations who work with and provide meaningful interventions and services to children with special needs, behavioral challenges, and developmental disorders by providing free services to these local agencies. Plus it really is fun!

A very awesome place with many interesting things to see/do & a very good admission police for parents with multiple children. We were disappointed in the number of nonworking stations, not kept up sections (bubble buckets not full so kids could experience), and absolutely filthy experiment parts. Two ladies sat at the desk chatting the several hours we are there. As a parent it was frustrating to find a great idea run down over time due to not enough upkeep or motivation.

Its a really fun family stop every time were in town. The kids loved all the different stations, and the independence while theyre inside. Sometimes its a problem when a kid hogs a station for too long. Would be nice if there were more staff around giving tips and moving kids along. All exhibits in good order (which is good and unusual and places like this).

For the price point it was fun. Though I was expecting larger. But kids had a lot of fun as almost everything was hands on. They had demonstrations as well. I would say about 2-3 hours of stuff to entertain the kids.

This spot has some really good hands on activities for kids. Its probably not something that youd visit more than once or twice a year, but my 3 year old didnt want to leave on the day we visited.

I gave it 5 start because if I were a kid it would be a super fun place to go. There were many hands on things to do but as an adult gathering place it fell a little short.
