So great we are supporting fitness for young and old! But we have neglected Pendleton Park Pool badly: the "new" showers do not work, the staff creating/approving a new sign with pool hours and days open was GROSSLY incompetent and made at least 3 expensive errors, and often the pool chemical levels are too high relative to other toxins in the water. There is a (for me, terribly painful) high-pitched, squeaky faucet to the right side facing south on the second set of showers back, from a position standing in the entrance by the sign-in and ridiculously incorrect (sloppily corrected) sign. Please FIX this. I would not deliberately harm others, but that noise pollution will give me cause to yell back at whomever turns that on and does not notice they are shooting painful high pitched torture out into the pool. No wonder so many are hard of heading here! Our kids are susceptible and need protection even more than we old birders and musicians are. EARS and HEARING, (vs. Noise Pollution) MATTER!
