Well that was disappointing! Four friends just did Hostage and we started out excited cause the lobby was nice and the host was nice, but we kept losing several minutes because our game master, Vince, wouldnt pause the time when sever puzzle pieces didnt function correct. At one point you pull a mannequin head out of a safe and have to put it in front a face recognizing camera and we lost about 3 minutes because the camera was out of alignment even though its labeled stating not to touch it. The black light laser was knocked out alignment so it didnt correctly refract off the mirror in the door. The USB out of the safe didnt work/ was extremely positional. The only thing that made me feel dumb there was paying for it. I hear the Island in sevierville is significantly better.

We attended last weekend to celebrate my birthday. The group I participated with had some special needs in regards to Breakout (we had a handicapped person and toddler with us). I called beforehand and had the best and most kind experience with employee Abigail giving us direction and assuring us there would be no problems with their participation/attendance. We showed up the next day and did the Casino Royale room. Nate was our "game guide" and was super helpful and fun to play with. This room was definitely challenging and involved several casino games (dont worry, youre not left completely helpless if youre not a gambler!). It was so much fun! We escaped at 59:40. Barely made it out! We cant wait to go back and breakout of another room!

Probably has the third best escape game company in knoxville. Its also nice how many rooms they have. The two escape rooms at escape works are the two best, the purge at escape game knoxville is the third best. And then the rest of the slots go to breakout knoxville. Theyre all decent, and a fun way to spend a saturday night, but not quite as atmospheric and immersive as the ones I mentioned above. Additionally, the game masters arent always the best at making the experience as smooth as possible. Sometimes their comments are intrusive and they sometimes offer help when its not asked for. Which bothers me ;) But theyre nice people, and, like I said, its a good filler for while youre waiting for Escape Works to put out a new room :)

I booked the "The Kidnapping" at Breakout Knoxville for my daughter and six friends for her 13th birthday party. This was our first experience of this type of game and the staff was very helpful in explaining the various games, their success rates and suggesting the games that were appropriate for the group. The girls (and myself-an adult had to participate with the minors) had a great time and worked very well together towards solving the game using the various clues in the room and hints provided by Holly, our game "overseer". Ive discussed our experience with several friends and am looking forward to the opportunity of returning with a group of adults.

My family and I got together with some family friends to do The Kidnapping. It was a boat load of fun! You have one hour to escape and three clues to help you get there. With 8 people, things did get a little chaotic, but most everyone was contributing at all times. I feel like the sweet spot is in the ballpark of 4-6 people. Some steps were a little bizarre with regard to how you move on, and the information overload didnt help, but everything was definitely solvable in the hour. We only took 51 minutes, the first 15 of which were very inefficient. All in all, Id recommend this for a fun time or team-building. I definitely plan on doing more.

Awesome Staff, Great Location, Average Games We had a nice time at Breakout. Their modern facility was clean and well-kept with a super friendly staff. Too many of the puzzles in Casino were math problems, and none of them had a real "wow" moment. While nothing was broken or bad, the room was not immersive or exciting. Our group of three fit pretty well, but 7 people (the rooms capacity) would have been uncomfortable in a room that small. Scheduling was a breeze, and they were extremely helpful and flexible in finding a time that worked for our group. We also liked that Breakout Games supports the Asheville Museum of Science.

A group of us (who think were pretty smart) tried to break out of Mystery Mansion. We came close, but we didnt make it! We had so much fun that we returned later in the week. Our second venture was Museum Hiest. We failed again, but we were very close the second time too! We liked the first one better because the steps to solving were sequential. In the Hiest, the steps seemed random, although we knew they would come together in the end. We had a GREAT time both nights and highly recommend the experience!!!

I went to Breakout Knoxville with my family, and we chose the "Museum Heist" experience. I have to admit, at first, the idea seemed a little cheesy to me. However, it turned out to be lots of fun! It is definitely challenging, and you will be racing against the clock the whole time! If you are looking for something to do with a group of friends, family, or fun team exercise with colleges, this is a great option! The great part about this is that with a family, both adults and kids can have fun and work together.

It was awesome! I was nervous at first, we did the museum heist, but as soon as we met our mediator I felt more at ease. He made me feel safe, but still felt the excitement of the event! He interacted with us throughout the hour and kept it feel safe and exciting. We had an awesome time as a staff and it really helped us bond and see our different roles better. We got out with just 29 seconds on the clock and had such a great time, Id recommend it to anyone and everyone!

We had seven members in our group. We chose the kidnap experience. I could not believe how much we enjoyed this. My family ranged in age from 11 to 55. We had three adults, 2 teenagers and two preteens. Everyone found a niche and began solving clues. I had no idea my family would work so hard together to solve the breakout. I was amazed at what a great team we made. Our family plans to go for another breakout session very soon. Staff was fabulous. WE BROKE OUT!!!!!!

I went with my family and we did the Museum Heist. There were eight of us, ranging in age from about 9-45, and it was fun for everyone! It was just the right mixture of challenging, thought provoking, and exciting. My brother loved it so much that he started working at a Breakout location! I would definitely encourage any kind of group (young or old, work-related or a friend group, etc) to go for it! You wont regret it.

We did the Island Escape breakout as my birthday present with my wife, daughter, two stepsons, grandson and close friend of my daughter who is like a daughter. Its the most fun Ive had in a LONG time! The staff was super nice, the puzzles were difficult but not overly so, and our game master was super! The last 10 minutes was very intense but we broke out with 16 seconds left! We are already planning our next adventure!
