A well-run center, with friendly staff (except for one high-schooler, who thankfully seems to have moved on), diverse programming, an enclosed junior rink and numerous basketball games going on at all times. Snack bar hours are spotty, and there are no options for learn-to-skate sessions that are early enough for young children, but on this citys budget, I expected much worse than what Donnell and his crew have provided since I became aware of the center.

A drug infested public playgroung where we have has numorous shootings and a rape and couple assaults this playground is breeding ground for local drug dealers and prostituion not for for children or family looking for recreation non police presence and they know whats going on there been happening for years even state Rep Dwight Evans office knows whats going on in this ceatpool they call a recreation center

The recreation center may be nice but I refuse to take my kids here anymore. The kids are almost never supervised by an adult so they are free to curse and behave badly. The teens come to hide from there parents and also do whatever they want and the worst part is that the locals use the tennis courts to store their pitbulls until they are done doing whatever. Its a shame because i like nearby.

I myself have been to Simons many many many times with my friends and I love it. Only thing that bothers me is that teens smoke weed there but other than that Simons has a lot to do. In and outside.
