I can not say enough good things about the fitness center/classes at the JCC! The dedication of the trainers and staff helped me lose over 20 lbs last year and I started taking classes I never thought I could get through. With Body Pump, Body Combat, Long and Lean, CxWorx, and the gym equipment...I was able to transform myself. I am happier now, made lots of new friends, but most of all I trusted others who wanted me to succeed. I reached for a goal and got there. I am doing my first 5K in April 2013 and so proud of myself for wanting to do it. Thank you to people who believed in me to challenge myself and make change happen.

Their staff are extremely obnoxious and rude. My father who is 50 years old, was treated extremely disrespectfully by one of their 20 year old staff in the fitness center in a situation where he told her to please pick up the weights on the weight room floor so there wasnt an accident and she had the nerve to tell him why doesnt he pick them up himself. There where also several other occasions where he was treated with disrespect. When we complained about the issues NOTHING was done to solve them. Horrible customer service and lack of respect for their members who are constantly barraged with fundraisers asking for donations.

My family and I have been members for over 10 years and use the exercise programs all the time. I especially enjoy coaching by Jay Kellogg. His classes are at noon time on Wednesdays. We do need more people to join this great class. You will see a big difference in your fitness and well being having exercised in this class.
