Two thumbs down Me and the wife came to visit for the first time and I cant imagine we will give them another shot. Food was ok...not bad actually...cook deserves more kudos than the 2 stars reflects. The system is broken and there are red flags galore. Food is being delivered from the kitchen with no traceability to the customer. Deer in headlights look every time a plate comes out of the kitchen...the manager seemed to have the same deer in headlights look and there must be evil spirits so many feet past his home base because I didnt see him take more than 10 steps. The new girl was a go-getter...wished we would be blessed to have her wait on us...instead we got a girl that either was too good for us or was walking from the other side of the building to get to us...she was rarely seen. Sucks for her because we start at 20% and had we been served with half our expexlctatuons probably would have sat there and rang up a bit of a tab drinking and what have you...I watched my 1st requested peice of fish in an all you can eat order get delivered to another table that maybe didnt want it based on the reaction but then again that system being broken the waitress who delivered it only knew someone in the building needed fish in that general vicinity so not her fault...here comes a 2nd peice to...ehem the same guy. He pushed his hand up and tried to object...but was given another order of fish from yet a different server. None of these girls looked up enough to see my hand waiving...about 15 minutes after I asked the go getter waitress where our server was she showed up and asked if I was ready for more fish. The thing is normally you want to complain to the manager and try to work it out....he was 3 ft away and ran from the situation like it was fire. Shame...we sorta liked the atmosphere

My husband and I dined here a couple of weeks ago when we were in town as an anniversary dinner. If this rating was only based on the food, it would be 5 stars, the food was excellent. my steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare, the dessert was great. Im not big on beer, I prefer cider. They only had a cherry cider at the time we went and it was kind of bitter. I got it as both a plain cider and also mixed with wine, both were okay but not something I would choose again. I would have tried other drinks but unfortunately our server was rarely seen, and the two drink orders were all we could get in in the two hours we were there. We were seated at one of the two tables by the door, so a little away from the main seating area. It was a little busy when we went in but a lot of tables left soon after. After we put in our second drink order, about 10 minutes after our glasses were empty, another waitress was kind enough to bring them to us from the bar, as she saw us waiting. I really wish we had had her instead, as she was more pleasant. After the long waits for service and waiting for the bill, her excuse was that she had a chatty table. Thats nice and all, but they unfortunately were not her only customers and didnt deserve all of her attention. I would be willing to try Bullfrog Brewery again, mainly because I saw not all of the servers were as inattentive, and because the food was great. If I had another experience like this, however, it would definitely be a deciding factor on never returning.

The Bullfrog Brewery. It doesnt seem like this establishment has been around for almost two decades. The Bullfrog is almost a household name to Williamsport natives. The interior is a bit cramped especially when they have a live band but what it lacks in size it makes up for in atmosphere. Their menu is fairly large and creative. It is however a bit pricey, though they have something for everyone from pizza to fish, crab cakes to burgers, soups and salads. The Bullfrog is one of the very few micro breweries in town and boasts a large array of beers. The beer menu changes from time to time but there is always their permanent list. I recommend getting the beer sampler if you havent ever had their beer before. It has a small sample (I think a 4oz glass) of about 9 different beers on their menu. They will also let you sample a beer if your going to order and are not sure if youll like it or not, which is a nice gesture. All in all this pub is very nice and I would recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I were in Williamsport this week and the first place we wanted to try was this restaurant. So, we went there on a Sunday evening. We walk in and stand near the "please wait to be seated sign" for five minutes before someone finally came up to us. Our waitress had ZERO personality and really acted like she could care less about being there. I have worked in tons of restaurants, and because of that we are always friendly and are always great tippers. But after being left for 20 minutes at a time without her stopping by the table, and blowing me off when I asked what she recommended, and not having any interest in telling us about any specials - we only left her 10% - which is something I NEVER do. The unfortunate part is that the menu is wonderful and our food was very, very good. Its too bad that their service is so bad. The kicker is that the owner was sitting at the table next to us - obviously with zero interest in observing or training his staff properly.

We were passing through on the 4th of July. Our food was delicious, but the service was horrible. There were quite a few tables when we got there (it was around lunch time), but it emptied out quickly. I cant remember if our servers name was Lacy or Kacy, but she really did not do a nice job. Three out of four of us ordered salads. While mine was an entree salad that was my lunch, the other two ordered them to come ahead of their actual lunch. Needless to say, we got our entrees first, and then our salads were brought out. Had we realized we wouldnt get them ahead of our food, my husband and son would not have even ordered them. Also, because all this food came out virtually at the same time, we had absolutely NO ROOM on the tiny bar table. She never even apologized or anything. I think she checked on us like once. We frequently go through Williamsport, as I am an alum of Lycoming College, but we will not be stopping there anymore.

The place itself was beautiful. ....and had some excellent beers. The staff on the other hand lacks ALOT to be desired.....me and my friend stopped in around 3pm on a Friday, there was MAYBE 10 customers in the entire place and five employees behind the bar "working" .....After waiting for several minutes we still were not greeted approached or even acknowledged.....finally after the employees conversations with one another ended we got some service.....Beers were excellent, enjoyed them thoroughly....took about ten minutes in between finishing my beer and the bartender finally noticing it that I got another lol.....Bartender and employees are just NOT customer oriented......Good one time stop...wont be back though. ....and thats solely on the lack of customer service
