Least favorite course in wb area, mostly because of the horrible members. This course isnt nice enough or challenging enough to have snooty members controlling the course. Last time I was there my 4some was on the tee and there was a group of 8 waiting by pro shop, bags werent even on their carts yet, we play hole one with their first group teeing off as were on the green and we were finished putting by the time they were ready to hit their approach shots. Before we could get off the tee box on 2, the ranger shows up saying his members are complaining (not the group behind us, but the 2nd 4some in the group of 8 complained) so we jumped a head a couple holes and what do you know, they never caught up to us! This isnt the first time Ive had issues with these members here. Im a good golfer but a lot of my friends are just starting out and I like coaching them and letting them hit a couple extra shots here are there. We let people play through and very often they are rude even though were doing the right thing by letting them go. Also the course is maintained pretty horribly. The bunkers are awful, and the other day my friends and I lost 4 balls just because the rough was so patchy. I understand if all the rough is tall but it was so patchy it looked like it hasnt been trimmed in days. Overall I dont recommend it here. Other courses in the area are cheaper, way nicer conditions, and much friendlier staff. For instance blue ridge or Edgewood in the pines. And to all those members at muni, golf is supposed to be a game of patience and fun. If you want the course to yourself join a private club assholes! Or realize that your dumbass joined a public club meaning you play with the public... Its terrible Im telling 70 year old men to grow up!

I would give it 3.5 to 4. I played 6/28/17 the course was in GREAT shape. Greens were smooth and true (somewhat tricky too). The staff was nice and efficient. I played at 9 am and was done by 12, thanks to the gents letting me play through on 14. Price was $30 and worth it compared to others in the Pocono area. I have played all the public course in the Blakeslee area too.

This course is located away from the city in the mountains of Bear Creek. With plenty of woods surrounding the course it is common to see deer, fowl, or even a black bear. The course offers a challenging layout for an amazing value. The course has a putting green, chipping area, and a driving range. Also on site are a quiet bar and a restaurant.

Fairways are like rough on other courses, bunkers are the worst i have ever seen, the snack shop between 9&10 is closed, beverage cart came around 1 time in 4 hours it took to play. A waste of 35.00. This course years ago was well maintained, but not now.

Decent course with a good location. Last few years I would have left a very negative review on course condition but this year has been an improvement. Things seem to be heading in the right direction. 3/5

Fairways and greens are in great shape. The only down turn is if you end up in a sand trap. Too many rocks.
