I just arrived home after spending a week at MSLR . This place is the hidden gem of getaway locations. If crowded hotels, noisy neighbors and the sound of children running around is your choice of destinations, then here is not where you wanna be. It is very quiet, peaceful and scenic. You are few miles away Camelback adventure park, Tannersville ( home to your favorite eateries),Crossing Premium outlet and more. The site itself has a beautiful lake where you can go fishing, go out on a row boat (each cabin has their own). Nice trails to go on stroll with the family. I stayed in a three season 2 bedroom cottage and it was perfect. It wasnt the largest cabin available, but, it suited me just fine I had 2 bedrooms a living room and a kitchen. The staff are amazing and I will be most definitely be going back!! The traffic on 287 almost had me turning around to stay another week.

We just returned from our 4 day trip to Mountain Springs Lake. The lake and surrounding property are very well maintained. Our cottage, including living areas, bathroom and bedrooms were immaculate. The decor is extremely dated but who goes to a lake / woodside cottage for modern decor? Playground by the lake is great for small children. Weather was pretty bad while we were there so we were a bit limited in some of the activities available but there appears to be a lot to do in the area. If you plan on outdoor cooking the grill provided is very small. I found my portable Weber much more useful in this environment. Also, the TV was pretty small. Dont plan on any late night scary movies. All in all a very nice getaway. quiet, clean and convenient.

Great place for families or people who looking for something quiet, but to call it a resort is false advertising. The "resort" consists of rustic cabins with modern amenities. Be sure to bring your own shampoo etc .. way overpriced for what is offered. Carpets need replaced , better quality mattresses and bedding are needed and nicer showers if you want to charge "resort " prices. The closest anything is 5 miles away. You get a boat if you are by the lake , thats it . Not even a firepit. If you want wifi you have to go to office to use it. Not much in the way of wildlife either. I have more birds at home! I couldnt wait to come home. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the grounds are well kept

We just moved to the subdivision called "The woods at Mountain Spring Lake" and so we thought we would bring our dogs down to the lake. Before we even got the dogs out of the car the owner pulled up along side of us and brutally accosted us for treaspassing on private property. She then turned her back and continued to belittle us as she walked away. Fortunately, (and Thank you!) to the guest of the resort who stood up for us and yelled at the owner for her despicable behavior. I cannot speak for the amenities, but the owner is the type of person I hope to never run into again.

My family and I have staying here since I was about ten years old ( Im 30 now). Always such a nice experience and well maintained beautiful property! Recently they have done some changes that change the feel of the resort. The fire pit, fencing off at areas that use to be accessable, private gardens for the owner, brand new expensive " cabins". The money could have been spent on new mattresses , new windows etc. In the older cabins. The sleep of a guest can make or break a stay. Definitely worth upgrading existing spaces before expanding with central air lake front cabins.

scheduled a reservation. They took my money never told me they had a no refund policy. seems like something you would disclose while taking a deposit. told me that if I had a question on those policies they would of gladly answered. So they told me what I wanted to hear not necessarily that what was needed to be heard. Old sales techniques at its finest. They made 275.00 off me and I never stayed there. But they received a complaint to the better business bureau and will receive negative reviews through social media. Hope it was worth it Ben. Thanks again.

We had a very nice visit here. The staff is kind. The accommodations are clean and nice, a bit rustic but that is what we wanted. The lake is pretty clean for a lake and the swimming area is pleasant and relaxing. The overall grounds are well maintained. This is a good place for family or group gatherings. We brought together 6 different families from across the country. It was a little challenging to find a good group space, but we made it work.

Beautiful location. I was very impressed by how well the entire place is maintained. Cabins have all you need and private. We used the boat and fished. I caught my first bass. Very nice trail all around the lake. We biked it. We played badminton, horse shoes and enjoyed the full moon sitting on the beach. I highly recommend this resort.

This cabin is so clean I feel like Im the first person to walk into it ever. The lakeside view was wonderful. Even the inside of the oven and fridge look brand new. If I could give more stars I would. I wish there was a fire pit for outside, or that the first place inside was for wood, but a gas fireplace is beautiful and simple.

Great cottage overall. We stayed at the last cottage on the left. The rooms were clean, spacious, and homey. Good for a family vacation or a get away with friends. The cottage even overlooked the lake and came with its own row boat at no extra charge. The only down side was that there was no wifi available at the cottage.

I have been coming to Mountain Springs Lake for the past 30 years! The cabins are immaculate as are the grounds. My husband and I hold this resort in a special place in our hearts as we were married right on the beach! The Radar family has always been accommodating and worked to ensure our time there was special!

I am well-acquainted with almost all of the cabins. MSLR is not ritzy, but the range in cabin accommodations goes from adequate to overly-adequate to honeymoon for those whose focus lies outside the door. The main attraction really is the lake & surrounding scenery. :)

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Starting coming here in 2006. My family and I fell in love with Mountain Springs Lake Resort immediately. I would recommend staying there to anyone who loves privacy and the natural ambiance of the forest.

Cottages are well equipped and very nice. Stayed in one of the Hemlocks, certainly no major complaints here. The only minor thing was that our cabin didnt seem to have any extra bars of soap (just one bar for each bathroom) or extra kitchen trash bags.
