DOVER DE SPEEDWAY I am VERY disappointed in your webpage and ability to order tickets. Dover is subpar at present compared to other NASCAR tracks as far as ease to purchase tickets...and a disastrous website. I just purchased and attended a race at Darlington SC with my family...a FAR FAR better website and a customer/fan-oriented ticket purchase process. I lived in Delaware for 6 years...what has happened to your common-sense???...something I prided myself on being a citizen of Lower Delaware...often called Slower Delaware. To me that title was a compliment. It is Friday night at 7PM...all but a few weeks before the Dover race and there is no one to answer the phone and order tickets? Are you striving to go out of business? Also when I attempted to use your website, something called YORK sales and a survey would pop up! I could NOT get rid of it! What kind of policy is this? I went to your website to purchase tickets, NOT to take a survey and get a so-called free-gift! Are you doing this to earn revenue? If you are that desparate you are barking up the wrong tree!!!!! So then I figured I would navigate around and use your poorly-designed website to purchase a BUNDLE of tickets (multiple days). Says I can not do that without calling...Monday! So now Dover NASCAR has succumbed to the rest of the worlds poor service, crappy website, unwanted ads, & poor customer service! I share this in order for YOU TO IMPROVE THINGS. Darn well know there are people of your employ who would agree....some perhaps have been vocal already.... How many dollars do you spend on IT and how much did you pay for this poor website? Shop for a more professional and QC oriented group. Did you go to the lowest bidder? It sure shows! So what are the chances I will get an email reply from you? What are the chances I will receive a call (). Melvin Joseph is probably rolling in his grave...dont know who he is? ...look him up! Have attended many races at Dover since 1974...along with my brother, daughter..and her husband. Please DO NOT diminish your reputation. Fix this before the September race Fri/Sat/Sun September 28! Hire a few people to man the phones past 5PM...be open on Saturday when MOST people have the time to order tickets! OK? Thank you, Jeff Phillips (Dodge_Charger_43 now residing in Maine...was DE citizen....plan to attend this May30/31/June 1 event AND September NASCAR event!

I went to watch a Sprint Cup and living in Richmond, thought I could leave around sunrise and get to the track with time to spare for going to the merchandise trailers and food, etc. WRONG! When I got within a few miles of the speedway traffic came to a dead halt and crept inch by inch. When I got close to the speedway, I found out why: No parking! All the public lots were shut down, forcing everyone who was going to the race to try to find other means of parking. Plenty of profiteering businesses all around the track were charging $20 and up for the pleasure of using their lot. I finally found someones private property who was letting people park for $5 and of course the track doesnt run free shuttles for people parking in private lots (not sure if they even do for the public lots). Got into the track just in time for the national anthem. One other problem: you cant get into another section without a ticket so if you have friends or family sitting elsewhere, you cant see em unless you both go outside. Other than that, it is a good track for racing. Bottom line: if you only have enough money for one race in the Mid-Atlantic: go to Richmond, and Im saying that impartially based on how much better RIR treats its fans.

I have been to four races at Dover, dating back to 2006, and I will not be going back, i have finally learned my lesson. Each and every time Ive gone, they have the absolute worst gate entry process Ive ever seen, and Ive been to Poconos, Richmond, Charlotte, Martinsville, Bristol, Daytona, and Talladega...We waited in line 45 minutes to get through the check in process. In the June 2013 race, I waited over an hour, and missed the first 20 laps of the race. This place is terribly ran, and they really need to go talk to the ISC folks to get a handle on how to run a race track. I mean seriously, who wants to wait 45 minutes in the blazing sun to get in ? They check bags at every track, and none of the ones I mentioned take nearly as long; its a much smoother process !

Dover will always hold a very special place in my heart. I go to 3-5 races a year and this is a track that I always make top priority to attend. Sure, it might not be the most advanced track Ive been to or the one with the most history, but it was my very first track that I went to. Every time I go back there or watch the fall race (we always go in the spring), I get that same feeling I got when I first showed up. Super looking forward to next week! With this race package and how the races have gone this year, we should have one of the best races to date! Get your tickets, people!

Fun way to pass the time. The Buffett served the best food I have eaten out in years. The food was absolutely delicious. It was as close to a home cooked meal one could get. If you like excitement the casino is the place for you. With bright blinking lights, the many sounds of the 2200 slot machines and a great mix of music , live bands at times as well, there is no shortage of excitement. A definite must for the bucket list. There is also fine dining, 4 star hotel, and spa on site.

Its a typical Speedway. We went to see the NASCAR races and the speedway was just like all the other Speedways we have gone to. A lot of confusion with signs, hard to find staff around to ask questions to, smell of cigarette smoke all over, and urine was strong in and around the bathroom area, not much shade on the benches when its a hot and humid day. Bring a hat or a blanket to cover your head unless you pay the steep prices for the inside air conditioned seats.

We have been coming to Dover for the NASCAR races for more than 10 yrs. We consider this our home track. The staff has always been attentive to any requests or needs and believes in rewarding long time ticket holders with extra perks. Have visited other tracks on a regular basis but none can touch the level of customer service that Dover provides.

Awesome racetrack, traffic isnt bad (compare to other sports event) if you park in lot 18 (2/4 pack with shuttle). Bring your own food/beer into the grandstand because its cheaper and taste better than a $4 hotdog (over price) I sat in trun 1 section 221 row 3 and the view Is perfect . Is fun for all ages.

It was always a great place to see a race. You could camp close to the track and they had good facilities. Lately I think they were getting greedy and attendance was down but they are really improving the outside of the race stuff like temporary bars and better pricing packages.
