8/8/15: My husband and I were just married this passed Saturday at Memorytown, USA. The overall experience was good to very good. We had some trouble with not getting everything we were told at first signing the contract like indoor plumbing at the reception area. But to be fair they are still new to the whole wedding game. They are low staffed, but their people are great. Things they need to improve on- Taking care of the Bride and Groom during the cocktail hour. We were left with no drink or food while we were getting photos. Other venues offer served cocktails to their wedding party after the ceremony. Indoor plumbing for your reception area. We had to order a fancy portapotty and some people from the rodeo and other events were using them, which was not as promised. Things that went well- We were able to get ready on site for less stress. The owner tried his hardest to make us happy, and was present mostly all day and night. There was little to no clean up! They offer much of the decorations for your reception. Family from far away were able to stay in the cabins and rooms. They also gave us the freedom to keep hanging out after the reception at the tavern and fire pit. If you are looking for a nice down to earth wedding, I suggest booking this venue. My family and friends can not stop raving about how much fun they had during the reception. And the food was good. I have not heard one complaint. We are very happy with our choice overall and will remember our day forever.

When my then fiance and I pulled up to Memorytown, I lnew immediately that it was the place we were going to get married. Its a beautiful property with an amazing lake at the center. We had our ceremony in the apple orchard and our reception at the main barn. Talana, the event coordinator, was enthusiastic and helpful with every aspect of our wedding. Anthony, the owner, and Lisa were involved in every single step. We didnt have a single problem with communication - either Anthony, Lisa, or Talana were available to discuss every single issue that came up in the planning of our big day. The day of, Anthony, Lisa, and Talana were all there, and Talana especially fulfilled everyone of my needs. My guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful the setting was, how great the food was, and how amazing the cupcakes (made by Talana) were. It was a bonus that there were small cabins and motel rooms for our family and bridal party to stay in. Our most important guests were able to stay on site, while we got a shuttle to a nearby hotel for the rest of our friends. The after party was just as memorable as the wedding, with both a bon fire and the tavern for people to hang out. I cant say enough good things about Memorytown. It was the perfect wedding for me and my husband, and Ive had a million comments from guests agreeing with me. I wish we could do it all over again!

We booked a party of 6 people so we can have just our group but they added 4 more riders 2 of them being little kids which was not a big deal at the time but they were so slow they would not keep up with the group, we kept having to stop for them to catchup, they had problems using the bike. Our original time was supposed to be 2:00 pm but with the extra last minute riders plus I had a problem with my ATV starting so it took them 10 min with the one guide he then had to walk back to the office to grab the girl she came and tried for about 10 min and could not get it to start, they called another guide he tried and could not get it to start and then finally they got it to start it was about 25-30 minutes wasted easily...then as we were starting the course one of our guys had a flat tire so they had to swap with the guide and then finally we started the course. We went around 2 little courses and then came back which felt really fast and when we said that was it and that it should have been an hour he said well it depends on the course and its roughly 45 min when we got back to the office to complain the time was 2:56!!!! we literally had maybe 20 min of driving because of the problems we had...dont go to the place its a ripoff!!!!

If you havent visited Memorytown in a while, you should take a quick tour! This wedding and special events venue will knock your socks off, especially if you have a love of nature, the great outdoors and country charm. There are two beautifully restored barns on the property. One accommodates large parties and the other is for more intimate celebrations. They are clean and beautiful structures that are very appropriate for formal occasions. There is also a wine cellar room with authentic wagon wheel chandeliers and an acid stained floor that is so cool...perfect for cocktail hours and such. My daughter insisted on celebrating her sweet 16 birthday in the large barn this past weekend, and I couldnt be happier with everything. The Tiffany blue linens were beautiful, the food, staff and venue were all perfect! Wish I could post pics here! Thank you Memorytown. Two thumbs up!

We booked a room last weekend what a mistake. What used to be the office was now dirty and filled with old Halloween decorations so we decided to go to the tavern which you would think when I called they would have told us. The room was not ready so we left and came back and it still was not ready which was now past the check in time. We finally got in to our room which was not to bad not worth the $139.00 for one night. We tried the tv the remote did not work and went to the tavern to tell the manger who was rude and seemed to think that it was ridiculous that we would want a working remote. Later decided on a shower we had 4 people to the room. Realized we had one washcloth for 4 people, went back to the tavern the manger told me I should have told him earlier. Worst customer service ever. Dont waste your money. Would never go back!!!!

As with a number of other reviews for this place, we were the only people there. Waited 45 minutes before they took our order since the waitress was too busy talking to the bartender. Sat there for another 45 minutes after (an hour and a half total) before we got the two burgers we ordered. Granted the food was cooked before that, we were looking at it in the window to the kitchen for a good ten minutes just sitting there while the waitress continued joking around with the other staff at the bar. Must say, they have some pretty good fries, however dont fall for the southwest burger on the menu - its exactly the same as the regular burger but they put three pieces of jarred jalapeno on top and charge a premium for it.

Just attended a wedding there for by BFF at their newly renovated barn. How awesome!!! Just loved the country charm and authenticity of the place. The wedding ceremony in the orchard was beautiful, food at the cocktail hour was excellent and at dinner was very good. All the staff was attentive and professional, but bartenders Lori and Sandy were simply the best (ask for a raise girls...lol). Everyone had such a great time, and best of all... many of us stayed the night in newly renovated cabins on property. So driving was a non-issue. High marks for this Charming Country venue.
