A locals spot that welcomes visitors to Kennett Square with open arms, KBC has a really great atmosphere. This is due largely to the couple that run the show, and who can often be found there chatting with customers. Even if you know a lot about beer, you will likely learn more by talking to Mark about his craft. Good pub fare to go along with the beer, especially the pretzel and the burger. Last but not least, KBC was built expressly to provide a venue for local bands, and you can find good music there nearly every night of the week.

On walking up to this place it put me in the mood. Its subterranean and welcoming! The pathway to the door was palm-lined and well lit, great curb appeal! It was busy but not off-putting. Sat at the bar and people watched. Beautiful decor and delicious beer! Ive never had such a smooth double IPA. The food is diverse and standard prices. There was a band that wasnt over-powering. Definitely a good place for a group or even for a first date! Definitely come enjoy this hidden gem.

I went Thursday night 11/17/16 for a quick meal of pub food and a beer. I wasnt disappointed at all. The people were delightful and generous. That evening they were raising money for the Kennett Food Cupboard. The live music was excellent. Hearing great blues is not something that you associate with Kennett Square. Im going to have to expand my idea of what Kennett has become. Oh, and did I say, they have great beer.

Okay brews, but make sure you check for that auto included 20% gratuity on all tabs (not disclosed) the blank gratuity line on the tab does not say additional gratuity. Dont give more unless worthy. You know what... reconsidering, just go to victory down the road. They dont play games for more tip, and have quite a good product despite their bigger scale. Plus much better pricing for what you get.

I live in Kennett and have been going to this place since it opened. Ive loved it from the beginning but its only gotten even better over time. Even if you arent a beer person (and the beer is awesome!), the food is wonderful, and they have local PA wines as well. The atmosphere is low key but so friendly and they have live music several times a week. Highly recommended!

There are lots of great options in Kennett for hanging out for a beer and grabbing a bite. However, my favorite is Kennett Brewing Company. The combination of a solid food menu, really diverse and drinkable beers, a really friendly staff, and terrific ambiance makes this the best place to hang out with friends and family. Its just a comfortable place to be!

Really cool little brewery, had a good chat with the staff who were nice. This is place is kind of new, the décor is really cool. I never ate there but the food looked really good. I had the Wee Wobbly which was OK, supposed to be Scottish but Ive never seen anything like this in Scotland. Great place to chill!

Eight beers on tap, with a good variety for different tastes. Wait staff was knowledgeable of the various types yet slightly disorganized. Had two types of flatbread between us and wings for appetizer. Would order both again. Skip the dessert.four stars for the food with a minus one for the dessert.

Great beer! Seems like a really cool place, people were all smiles and friendly. Family style seating, food looked great but we just stopped in for a beer, go get a sampler or flight? Whatever they call it, you should at least go and have a beer if nothing else. Well be back to eat soon.

Friendly service and fantastic beer! We stopped by just to check it out and ended up staying for a few hours. Food was very tasty and the service was quick and treated us like family. The owners came by to chat with us about their brewing process. We will definitely visit again!

First time going there and just a great experience overall. The staff is so friendly and down to earth. The food is absolutely amazing and the beer is impressive. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. Definitely going to be back next time we are in town.

Limited space and menu does not slow this place down! Grab a stool, drink a Wee Wobbly and try the Carnitas Nachos for the full experience of this gem right in the heart of Historical Kennett Square. Either the rustic feel or great staff will make you come back. Enjoy!

Kennetts own speakeasy! The beer here is really good and keeps getting better. Theres also a good variety of styles for almost any palette. Cant speak to the food as there are no vegan items on the menu (which is a bum out) but this is the best beer in town.

Great beer, better food than other brewer in town. Not a huge selection, but this is just a quality mom and pop run shop and not some borderline mega operation. If you like craft beer you like this place.

Great vibe, a lot of hoppy beers, a rotating cider. Only weird thing is having underage employees behind the bar - cant give recommendations. Still, loved the cider and would return. Very nice service.

This is the jewel of Kennett, masterfully crafted beer - fantastic food. Prices are a little steep (especially on their growlers) but you have to pay for quality, and they have it in spades.
