We had no idea that there was such a wonderful meadery nearby! We used to travel four hours to get our favorite meadery, but now we only need to drive to the L.A.B.! We signed up for a tour and tasting for four people. Cider Ryan taught us about the mead making process and the history of the business. It is so neat to be able to see behind the scenes at such an extraordinary place. I had no idea how much honey it takes to make mead! I felt like a scientist tasting all of the different meads in little glasses shaped like wide test tubes. For only a few bucks more, we were able to try EVERY kind of mead that they had. It was so difficult to chose only one kind to buy! But that just means we have an excuse to come back (as if we weren’t already lol)! We also got complimentary mead glasses with the L.A.B. logo on them. Im currently using them as decoration because they are so pretty. They had the Troops food truck outside who took our order and brought the food right to us in the bar. As a young woman, I especially loved the vibe. I feel like this is the ideal place to bring my girlfriends for a night of safe, delicious drinking. It’s cozy with tons of vintage collectors items throughout. Now that the weather is getting nice, they will be opening the side doors and putting tables outside so that you can drink under the stars! Both Jeff and Terri came around to our table to ask about our experience. Seriously, I don’t think there is enough time in the day for us to explain how much we enjoyed ourselves.

The friendly, responsive staff was kind enough to open their doors prior to their grand opening so that we could hold a private party. The event turned out amazing, thanks to the knowledgeable, professional staff and the unique atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone willing to try something new, find a new hangout, or get some truly unique tastes to take home to friends and family!

Great hidden gem! Wonderful owners and staff who are all volunteers!! We had a tasting, and tour from Groupon. And we ended up sampling everything! There was even a food truck on site when we were there (Saturday afternoon). It was crowded when we first got there, but had thinned out by the time our tour was over. If you havent had the pleasure of trying this place yet, you should!

Great great place!!! Family run business... The people are so friendly!!! We will def be back the drinks were great and so different than most are used to... in a good way!!! Def recommend this as a place to try... Its going to grow fast because the drinks are so good!!! If your looking for a friendly atmosphere and good conversation this is a great place to go
