The Majestic Theater in Gettysburg, PA is a wonderfully restored 1920s-era theater featuring film, music, and theatrical performances. Prices are reasonable. The snack bar offers the basics at decent prices. The main draw is the beautifully restored theater itself. It is lovely inside and out. The staff are quite nice. It is a nice change of pace from the chain theaters with 20 different screens playing every movie currently available. Overall, I give The Majestic Theater four buttery popcorn kernels out of five.

Carefully selected films - shown with state of the art projection and sound - in a newly renovated, but intimate venue. PLUS...any food from the adjoining Flats Restaurant can be brought into the theater - anything from flatbread pizza - to scrumptious salads - to tastefully crafted wraps. So...you can enjoy more than gummy candy and artery blocking popcorn with your movie. A one of a kind place - in a historic setting!! A must-go!!!

First time ever being there was for the St. Paul and the Broken Bones concert and boy the venue did not disappoint. Such a diamond in the rough, located right off the square in Gettysburg. They do musical acts as well as show movies, and I cannot wait to try a movie there. Extremely well done restorations that give you a feeling that youve been transported back in time.

Went with some friends to see Wrath of Khan as part of a special series. The theater was beautiful, the employees were very courteous, and the event was a wonderful time. I would suggest anyone visit this theater as its a great place for events.

I went to a play here hosted by Totem Pole Playhouse, and had an enjoyable time. I loved the theatre, the facility was very nice, and the performance was spectacular.
