Im surprised how many 5 star reviews there are. I rate Erie Insurance Arena as average because #1, concerts are usually more overpriced than concerts in surrounding cities. Which is why most people will drive to Cleveland, Pitt or Buffalo over seeing a show here. They charge upwards of $15 for a processing fee, a $2 facility fee and $3.75 convenience charge on top of the ticket price. Secondly, I wish they utilized the arena more. Its great they have TSO and Disney shows for the family, but most concerts are hard rock or country, i.e. KISS, Jason Aldean, T. Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, etc. Also, I wish they would have kept (or bring back) the arena football team. They won a 1st place championship why didnt they stay? That was a ton of fun for the family... The additions to the front make it look very industrial and not modern. Plus a lot of wasted green-space in the front. Put more park benches out for people to sit and plant some trees. Lastly, the Warner has been promised a renovation for YEARS! I know this reviews for the arena, but its still managed by the same Erie County Convention Center Authority (ECCCA) Most bigger-production shows and tours either avoid coming to Erie because the building is so outdated they cannot fit their staging equipment through the doors, or they have to cut out half of the show and only bring in the stuff that fits through the doors when it was built. The ECCCA is well aware of this, but theyve chosen to allocate money elsewhere into things they think are more important than the historic Warner Theater. Theres actually a few feet of water under the foundation in the basement in the boiler rooms. All in all, Im grateful for these places, but the majority of people arent aware of the improvement processes.

The facility is nice and new, however, being here for the PA Junior wrestling championships buffet service for drinks was horrible! They added water to all soda drinks. I actually witness this! They only made on way to the third floor where the buffet is. There is a stairway that wasnt being utilized and would only allow people down the stairs not up. They actually had security there telling people to use the elevator!?!?!????? I hope the wrestling championship is held somewhere else that is more accommodating than this.

Ive been here twice in the past few weeks for hockey games. The concession stands were out of pretzels once and hot dogs the other day. The building itself has recently been remodeled. Its great! There isnt really a bad seat in the house.

Great venue in Erie for concerts, sporting events, etc.....very clean and comfortable with a variety of concessions available including beer and wine and plenty of very helpful and friendly staff.

A larger person will have difficulty sitting in the arena seats. The ushers are trying to accommodate, its tough when you have a 9,000 seat arena...As compared to a larger arena with more room.

Great ballpark with newer seats, 2 levels of seating, and several concession stands. The team puts on a good game and the staff work hard to make things fun for the younger crowd.

Love it after the new remodel. No reverb on the back wall. Little mad about the beer shut down at 9pm for a concert not over til 11 but otherwise its great.

Very nice lobby and concession areas. The seats are still a bit cramped if your a bit tall, but its whats to be expected from stadium style seating.

If you love hockey then go up and watch the Otters hockey games. Ticket prices are cheap even down by the glass. The Otters are a great hockey team
