If you had a 1/4 star rating, Id be giving you one after tonight. I simply called to ask about the pricing for the Matinee showings for tomorrow, Saturday the 19th. I got a recording that said, "To hear about showtimes and pricing push "2"." I did that and a recording began concerning one of the features. It told the name of the feature and proceeded to tell every showtime. When that was through, it went to the next feature and went through the whole process again. I wasnt going to sit there and listen to each of the eight features currently playing. My question is, if you are so big on sharing information through recordings, why after pushing "2" wasnt there a choice given to hear the information on showtimes or to hear concerning pricing? That would save somebody the time wasted to hearing about every feature and allow them to get to the pricing for which they had called? I hung up and called again. This time I went through all the messages and heard, "To talk to an employee pr the receptionist, push "0". I did that and the phone kept ringing and ringing. Suddenly a recording came on telling something about a party room that was available, the pricing for it, etc., etc. ... Then the call was ended, leaving me sitting there after all this time, having never received an answer to my question, nor being able to talk to a live person. How you are able to stay in business with that attitude being displayed to the public is inconceivable to me. I dont know how others react to this, but I can assure you that Ive made my last trip from Columbia to your theater. Ive come there ever since the theater opened, but in this day of ignorance to customers being a daily occurrence, Ive had enough of establishments like yours and will not be supporting your business from here on out. Then again, I suppose youll just write me off as some quack and just keep doing business as usual; to which I say, "Good luck with that!"

My family and I recently went to MoviE-Town theater to see Paul Blart 2, of which was funny by the way. Not only did we get a great movie viewing experience, the entire staff was very polite and friendly. We ordered a Super Combo and I was impressed with the price especially when it came with a free popcorn refill and free candy. Much cheaper than the bigger movie theater companies that I have been to. I was here at a time when they had bottomless popcorn and drinks which is no longer available. But that’s probably why the theater looked run down a few years ago. Very clean and up to date now… I will return. No questions asked.

Ive been going to this movie since it opened (we went opening night to see something) and its always been convenient. But Ive watched as the experience began to slide. Their app is broken, their prices have gone up (understandable ) and their portions have been halved(not so much) while the movie going experience hasnt really changed. Is it a bad theater? No. Is it a good one? No. But for 6.50 for a matinée and not having to drive to Lancaster for regal or to Palmyra for that refurbished theater. Just dont pay $5 for their (now) 10oz small drink and try not to go when the manager is on duty since hes less than friendly.

For those of us who dont want to have to drive to Harrisburg or Lancaster to see first-run films, MoviE-Town is terrific. Ticket prices are lower than the larger cities prices, snacks are about the same or a bit less, and the stadium seating provides everyone with great views. Ive even had the attendants offer to bring coffee to me in the theatre after they brewed a fresh pot. A great place to see a movie!

Teenage daughter went to a movie with her friend and each bought one adult ticket, each giving the cashier a 20$ bill. Both should have received change and neither did. Obviously this was a learning experience for her, Im just disappointed that it was a lesson given by my local movie theater. Also, you need to spend some of that skimmed cash on some upgraded facilities, its starting to look pretty dire.

I like going to movie-town theater because it offers a clean, movie atmosphere and the prices are less than other theaters. Most of the time I have no complaints but tonight the theater was very cold (in March) and my whole family had to keep their coats on during the movie. I am very excited for the renovation to the snack area even though at this time we have to bring our own snacks and drinks.

The people that run the theater are very nice. The food is good...bathrooms clean..the sound is great....and I am very grateful someone was able to buy the theater and keep it in Elizabethtown! Its a nice place to unwind and enjoy a movie. Support of our local vendors is so important! Soooo no complaining unless you intend to be the one to help make it better. Enjoy.

Pretty average to below average as far as facilities/atmosphere go. I met with some friends here because it was a good middle point from where we live...the outside is kind of junky and the theater was very outdated, but once the movie starts you dont really notice, and there were no problems from that side of things.

The seats in the theater are terrible. They are very uncomftable and out of date. You no longer get bottomless popcorn and drink which was great till the new owners took over. Has potential but not worth the price charged when there are way better theaters in the area!

It is a family owned establishment with a kick back working staff that always make me feel welcome! Speakers could use some work but the theater itself is nice:) thanks movie town for showing me my favorite movies with dollar popcorn all day Tues!!

Great theater experience. The muscular, welcoming manager, (Kobey?) made my stay fantastic. His warm demeanor put my at ease during my viewing experience. Update 2016: still a phenomenal place to bring the family after church and lunch.

A nice small-town movie theater that I enjoy going to as its convenient to where I live. Since Cocoa-Plex purchased this theater, I have seen nice improvements including the upgraded projectors and exterior of the facility. Thanks!!

Nothing, unprofessional staff and never seen a manager take orders from, not one; but two employees. Cinema not exactly clean and staff members worry about cellphones over their job, customer service. Dont bother!

The sacrifices are made up for in convenience. While not the nicest theater or the cheapest it is worth it not to drive all over and be inundated with with people being loud or rude.

Place is dirty, theatre was STILL dirty from the last showing and the movie was starting in 5 minutes. Very expensive for the experience and the quality of the theatre. Upsetting.

What a family-friendly theater. The staff are all very polite, the prices are great, the movies are current and the building is kept clean. Who could ask for more!
