If youre visiting Vashon, you really gotta take the time to drive out to Maury and on down the road to Point Robinson. Youll have to park up at the top of the hill and walk down, but its not that far. For photographers, this is a really prime scenic photo op. Try to come down at sunrise, sunset, or when theres a full moon rising over the Cascades. You can get the lighthouse in the shot, and itll be awesome. Thats what I did !

This is a fun quiet little hidden treasure on Vashon Island. For those Seattleites who dare to Venture off the beaten path, this is a gem and fun to explore. You can easily spend a few hours walking up and down the beach on great days with a fantastic view of Mount Rainier in the background, nice Sea Breeze and waves, you should go there soon.

This is a neat little park, the view is great and the lighthouse is very well preserved. There is not a lot of infrastructure, only a few port-a-potties and maybe one or two benches. Parking is on top of a little hill; near the lighthouse there are mostly handicap parking spots.

A longer drive to get to, you need to make a small climb down to get to the beach. The beach has large logs around it, that you need to climb over. Small but does have a good view, you dont need lots of time for the visit, once youre there

Point Robinson lighthouse is a little gem in Vashon island. The beach next to it is very quiet. I went there for a Saturday morning. There were not too many people. The view was spectacular. The lighthouse seemed well maintained.

Nice short hike down to the lighthouse from the upper parking lot. The trail could use a little trimming back especially with the stinging nettle leaning towards the trail. Good views across the water towards Seattle.

Worth the drive and hike down the hill. A very Northwest experience. Perfect for a stroll on the beach or for the photo junkie. Needs more picnic tables and real restrooms instead of dirty parking lot port a potties.

Friends & I rent one of the keepers quarters, its a quick ferry ride to Vashon and I mini vacation from our busy lives. The home is well kept, the beach is right out the front door - its a peaceful retreat!

Out of the way, very quiet park. Enjoyed seeing the Vashon lighthouse and taking photos. Different perspective of Puget Sound than were used to. Beach would be nice for kids, lots of run and play area.

The walk to the light house is beautiful and the views of the city are spectacular. You cant actually get very close to the lighthouse, but its well worth the hike.
