Blocked me on Facebook because he cant handle suggestions of how to help out the shop after he made a post stating that they might go out of business if they dont get more customers. Off the bat the guy thought I was being a d**k for even contending his greatness I guess. 1.) Selection - Corner store basically. SOME unique sodas, but mostly the basics. The people that are impressed with seeing Jones, Pop Shoppe, Henrys, and Birch Beer really shouldnt be giving opinions. They have like 10 different kinds of rootbeer in the forms of Sasparilla and Birch Beer.....but they completely lack in other sodas. I PROMISE that youll be MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH happier with the selection BOTH New Seasons and World Market has. Also the Haggens grocery store in Oregon City is amazing too. They even sell Jolt (all flavors). 2.) The price is just flat out ridiculous. $3-4 for ONE soda???? Come on that is CRAZY even if you factor in that its a cool environment its still stupid to think its worth a $2 or 3 markup. New Seasons, World Market, and Haggens all offer the same sodas and MORE for $1.50 each. 3.) The Hot Dogs are just Nathens which is fine, but they to are over priced. Its just a frikin hot dog. Nathens is what? $4 for a pack of 8 dogs? Come on, no reason a dog should be $5. If your going to call them gourmet, get gourmet dogs NOT dogs one step above Oscar Meyer. Get Boars Head, they are the best most readily available dogs out there if you wanna charge top $ for them. If you still wanna offer Nathens you should lower the price to fit the products. Hell dogs dont cost this much at a baseball game and Im pretty sure thats a cool place to hang out too. 4.) The decor is awesome and so are the events they put on. Which is about the only thing this place is truely doing right. 5.) Offer custom "FOUNTAIN DRINKS". Soda Cocktails basically. Soda Jerk shop rather than claiming your a specialty soda place, because its NOT. Far from it actually. Much cheaper to make which would allow you to lower price and bring in more people. Kids and Families DONT have this kinda money to spend on luxury items. You need to offer more affordable products. Tell you what man. You start offering sexy looking soda cocktails the boys will be bringing there girls there. 6.) Customer Service is fair at best. Clearly the guy is so rude he deleted the ONE person who was trying to help and could help. Am I being mean here? Yes, alittle because I cant believe the audacity of the guy. Some of the kids that have served me before were COMPLETELY uneducated on the products and soda in general. So def no help there. The one girl whos served me a few times isnt really rude, but not nice either. Seems like she tries to rush you out of the store so she can get back on Facebook. Im sure there are some ok servers here, but I havent seen them. Maybe Im a bit harsh in this regard because when I spend $4 on a soda you better be able to answer some damn questions about it. Plus customer service is a huge part of my job so Im always looking out for it. But whatever Im the d**k whos offering sound advice while everyone just keeps telling you how "awesome" you are. Ive seen dozens of places like this and MUCH better go under. Some of them I was friends with and some I worked for. Ive also worked in the beverage world for several yrs, owned my own business, ex-chef, and a touring musician who preferred playing in places like this. Its a damn shame this guy will refuse to listen just like the rest of them. And just like the rest of them Pop Culture WILL go out of business. I PROMISE. And when they do no one can say I didnt warn them. RIP Pop Culture - It WILL happen.

Formerly called "Moxies" (name we preferred, but whatever...), Pop Culture is a great local hangout for the kids and teens. Had a recent change in ownership, but no reason to think that the new owners will make any drastic changes to the atmosphere, offerings, or involvement in the local community. Really one of the great things about the downtown Vancouver area.

Just went there yesterday and had the "Warrior" (Coney) dog and "Deliverance" dog. Warrior was great, Deliverance was interesting. Both were good and the pop selection here is good. Price of dogs is a little high (4.50) but he uses Nathans so it at least tastes like its worth the price.

A friend and I wanted to compare root beers and we knew Pop Culture would have a good selection. They had 24! We had a whole root beer tasting party. Thanks Pop Culture!
