The wine is so so. The employees are as helpful as they have to be. Ive purchased wine from them in the past, however I went into the store last week to get a bottle of wine for my wife and I and they refused to accept my valid military ID as a form of identification. They claimed that they had never seen anything like it before (which I find hard to believe in Tacoma with JBLM being so near and also the fact that I have used it there before) and refused me service. I will never shop there again. Military should avoid this establishment.

Vino Aquino is a family owned winery and it shows in the quality of service and the quality of the product. Wine tasting parties are fun and a great way to enjoy their product, and/or familiarize yourself with wine and the wine-making process. Bartender is extremely helpful and informative. Try the Commencement Bay (chocolate/vanilla) for a totally new wine experience, just make sure you drink it with a fine dark chocolate. Yum!
