"Who shut off the tap?" (Lake Washington, back in 1917--it used to flow North-South, into the then-Black River and the Duwamish. The opening of the Lake Washington Ship Canal [in 1917], permanently lowered the Lake by >9 feet--and changed the flow to South [Cedar River]-North : Into the Ship Canal--and westward toward Puget Sound.) Now the "Black" River-is just a desolate swampland!: "Black Rivers [sic] Matter!"

The other park-goers here are very friendly. Many of them say hello as they pass and give a good smile. People sometimes offer to show you the trails around the park, but Ive never really had the chance to look around. Lots of wildlife. Saw many blue herons in the water.

This land is part of the sewer plant. Smells really bad sometimes. Trash site nearby. Stinky area.
